This Scorpio has been taking care of his sick and elderly mother for 8 years, she can't do anything by herself from my understanding of the situation.
8 years, keeping to a strict schedule to mark sure she's as comfortable as possible.

Just how many people can you think would be able to do that? Sacrifice leisurely time, etc to make sure they're well taken care of instead of just putting them in a rest home and just visiting once a month?

Just, grief, this man has my respect, damn.

My scorpio cousin is like this. Took care of a terminally-ill spouse and two other terminally-ill family members (all three at once) while holding down a full-time job. And she's not the only child. One sibling lives with her now. I agree, much respect.

oh, and now taking care of her dad.

Yes, I agree. And It doesn't seem to phase her. I suppose she had some help, but since these relatives lived with her, I don't think it was on a regular basis -- probably whenever they could offer help they did, but I don't think she asked for much, she just did it.

Wow! That's a very inspiring story. I worry about people in general, because tbh the selfishness and the lack of empathy many 'normal' individuals and even myself display sometimes horrifies me. But this relieves me, just a little bit 😉.


Does he have strong Saturn aspects? Specifically to the sun, moon and IC-MC axis? My mom's health is generally very sporadic(pluto in the 6th) and I've had to take care of her for significant periods of time, mostly in my teen years. I always thought it would have something to do with Saturn? Just curious about the astrology aspects is all @.@. Always trying to learn!

Don't know his chart, but maybe I'll be able to get it someday.
