No those are peahens. or Female peacocks.
The place is my mother's place viewing Diamond Head, in Honolulu, Hawaii.
She and her husband have another place, on the porch... as it were of the Byodo, above.
That's where my place will be.

Ah cool. I saw a female pheasant this morning, cool birds.
