Gemini/Scorpio...why? OH WHY?!
My Mom's a Gemini and my Stepfather's a Scorpio, it's an odd mix.
I think the main draw for a Gemini is that Scorpios never "put it all out there." You really have to work on them to understand them, which elongates the Gemini's usual very little (no disrespect) patience. You're simply curious! Both Gemini and Scorpio are natural researchers that are interested in two polar opposite sides of the things they are researching. Conversations between a Gemini and a Scorpio can be incredibly stimulating, simply because they have such different perspectives on, well, everything.

I am a Scorpio and dated a Gemini once.
He was literally so into me, and such a great guy but I felt like he JUST DID NOT GET ME. Like the depth and the moodines and the raw emotion of me. While I wanted to lay deep into the night talking about emotions or life or death - he wanted to watch videos of monkeys dancing on youtube.
And he wasn;t shallow...quite the opposite...but we were just made of diferrent stuff.
He proposed, I said no, he was devastated but then he met someone much more vanilla and it really happy with her now. We are good friends!

My coworker is a gem make (I'm Scorpio female) and he and I have gotten along great... Until last week when his gem mouth went too far and he picked at me then teased at my angry vulnerable state (which is one thing I hate the most). I thought he was being so cruel, something he has never done and honestly I felt like things will never be the same between us. He's been trying to mosey his was back to friendship, but I'm pretty fixed and it takes me a while.
We are both totally different creatures, gems and scorps, but it's obvious there is something that we have in common which is why I see this paring so much.
After this "incident" it was kind of like I was waiting for it. I knew a gem and Scorp could never go on withough a hiccup, which is normal for everyone, but I realized gems are very emotionless and even though they mean no harm, we scorps are very sensitive. There lies a big difference. Gems don't know how to compute emotions. We can talk and laugh and what not, but things can't get too deep.

But yes, AlaniaB, we are most definitely made of different stuff. I guess keeping things at a friendship level is the safest when it comes to Gemini and Scorpios (for me at least).

OP, I think since Scorpios aren't similar in personality to you, you find their differences to be mysterious. Gemini are very curious, inquire a lot, and definitely want to know at least a little bit about everything. The fact that Scorpio are so different from you may be the case as to why you're so intrigued. You want to know the ins and outs of their thinking and behavior, perhaps, because it's something new for you. Gemini love getting to understand new discoveries. What do you think?

Everything is going great and then I open my big fat mouth...because honestly, it's fun to poke and sometimes I just can't help myself. As Gems, we let things roll off our back and forget that others are not able to do this as easily. We are definitely not emotionless though. I can tell when I've gone to far, feel bad, but then try not to linger too much on that difficult feeling. I then proceed to buy her Swedish Fish and explain how I'm a stupid Gem and not to take what I say seriously...ever. I can be a jerk and she can be over sensitive...we're working on it. LOL! I don't think I could handle that in a romantic relationship though. UGH!

I think what makes me mad is that like you said, I know he knows he messed up and an "im sorry, are you ok" would be nice. You know YOU messed up but we don't let things roll easy. We are sensitive and dislike insensitive people. That's what I'm just realizing about air signs. Your words are your weapon sometimes.
He Keeps trying to talk to me but I'm giving him attitude bc k can't stand to even be around him, but we work together lol. He's continues saying I have an attitude and I'm ignoring him. I know it's common for those who are born under the Gemini sign to see every aspect of every single topic, but I'm pretty sure I take it to another level. I've been called 'two faced,' 'fickle,' and 'indecisive' more times than I can count.. I guess it is true from another person's perspective...especially one of my best friends and co-worker who is a Scorpio. And when I say Scorpio, I mean - holy butter I think everyone is out to get me even though I'm always right and unbelievably amazing - kind of Scorpio. I love her, I really do, and she loves me (most of the time), but we drive each other up a freaking wall sometimes. So my point is, I know how Scorpios are and I could never, let me repeat...NEVER, date or marry someone like my friend.
However, every time I meet a Scorpio man I think...damn, he's like the most intriguing man I've ever met and I want to dig inside his brain and love him FOREVER. I should get to know him and maybe he'll be different. BUT THEY ARE ALL THE SAME! Every time! I'm too fickle and have the emotional depth of a teaspoon (yeah, that's what my coworker said, which is kinda true).
So if I'm light heart-ed and carefree, then why, oh WHY! am I attracted to Scorpios who are so confusing and emotionally complicated it makes me want to throw up? (Don't get me wrong, I love Scorpios...they just confuse me and frustrate the hell out of me.)
