Hmmm...try being extremely loyal and not pissing her off, by chatting up other girls and flirting with them right in front of her face shamelessly. We hate that and it's the quickest way to lose us, even on a friendship level. But of course, that should be obvious. 🙂 For me, loyalty or the ability to be loyal is the first important thing. Then comes being a friend, which means supporting her in her decisions and indecisions and not criticizing her feelings. (Be emotionally understanding.) Be emotionally available. Don't pretend you're made of stone. Don't be too much of a sap though, either. Show her in whatever way you can without actually slaying a dragon, that you would slay a dragon for her. 😛 But don't be a dumb macho ape, either. So I suppose my third thing is: be classy. Have class. Exude confidence but don't be afraid to admit to her privately what you fear. Just don't fear *her*. Stand up for your own beliefs and ideas and feelings without pushing her away. Enjoy the challenge that she is. Recognize that she is not like any other woman, because she isn't. Be more romantic in your words and actions than with things like chocolate and stuffed animals.

Since you have known her 14 years, what have you observed that she likes? Is she an outdoorsey person, a intellect, you must know her in basic terms. That what she likes and needs from friends and lovers. Being yourself is very important to a Scorpio. No frauds or pushovers.

Best thing to tell her is the truth. Sounds cheesy but I'm serious. Tell her how you feel, but leave some small mysteries for her to solve; this will keep her interest. Dates to take her on: totally depends on what she's interested in. If she's a quiet type I'd try the movie thing, followed by ice cream or dinner or something (or, afterwards you could bring her to your place for "drinks", depending on how well the date goes - and don't try that on the first date or she'll probably think you think she's easy which will bug her). But you should find out what she's into; it's too difficult of a question unless you know what kinds of things she likes. But do be decisive...I went out with a Pisces or two who never liked to decide what we'd do or where we'd go, and always expected me to decide, and that got old quickly. 🙂 Not that all Pisceans are like that.

Gifts should have meaning if you're going to give them. Be sparing with things like flowers and balloons and crap like that. 😛 (Roses are nice though.) Unusual gifts that have personal meaning for her or the both of you will score big points. Show that you really thought about what to give her rather than that you just ran down to 7-11 and picked the cheapest thing.

Romance...tricky because all women want different things. Personally I don't like a slick, too-fast type of guy, but I do like a guy who takes some initiative. To be safe just go somewhat slow for the first date or two. After that you'll know by her reactions to you what to do.

I have a question about that...........
Right now me and Nick(Scorpio) have not talked for 3 weeks now. I told him some pretty harsh things and so did he, I think it is a control thing. I will not call him, but we do have a son together, and he has not even called to see how he is doing.I will not be the one to call, so will see how long it takes to give in.In the mean time I wonder if he even cares? There are a lot of places to do it. Some are just day trips and others, you have guides and campout for a week.

When I was in eastern Oregon last month there were some real good looking rapids on the Snake river. You should try it. I think it is better than a roller coaster!
