Is there a chance to make him fall for me again?

Hello everyone! This time I have a Scorpio situation going on. I don't know why I am so drawn to the water signs, being a fire one, but it never ends well..

We had an incredible relationship for 1yr and 3months. It was partially long distance, which further strengthened our bond and also gave us that spark every time we saw each other after months. We had ups and downs, he had some jealousy issues but he improved greatly because of me! 🙂 He called me his soulmate, the love of his life.. He had even mentioned marriage as something he would like to do with me in the future (we are both quite young - early 20s). Despite all the fights (due power games and jealousy issues) he was my dream man.

Well, in the past couple of months I turned into the jealous one. I became insecure and wanted to be confirmation for my worth. Our relations were strained but when we were doing ok, we were happy. He was still loving me.

About a week ago he broke up with me. We had been fighting more in the week before that because he wasn't giving me enough attention (he agreed with that). I even offered him to take a break for a week so he can enjoy some time with his friends without having to text me. He immediately said no.
Well, it didn't matter because 2 days later he told me he doesn't feel the same way. He said he cares greatly for me and wants to keep me in his life as a friend.

I was so confused, heartbroken, angry. hopeless.. I realised I also had fault in this. I forgave him and apologised for turning into an insecure bitchy girlfriend.
But now everything is different. He seems distant, as if we didn't share 1 year of our lives, as if we weren't 'soulmates' 2 weeks ago... At the same time I see he has been listening to a lot of
sad love songs - I don't wanna miss a thing, Better than me (thanks spotify). I wonder if he regrets breaking up with me.

Do you think there is a chance for us to get back together? I am willing to work on this relationship because we have already put so much effort into it and I still love him..

you know, i had a relationship with a sag on and off for a year and a couple months, i was so in love with him, but he made me suffer, he would not text me for a couple of days, and at the end i found out he cheated on me. as a scorpio, we will give someone a couple of chance if we really "love " them, but after those chances its over , and never going back even if we thought the y were " the one" . try to talk to him, scorpios can be harsh, but honest.

I am not sure if scorpio guys are the same, but for me once I end a relationship...it's over permanently.
