guys I have a question

Are scorpios always so cold and distant? I tell my very close friend that I love him as a friend all the time and he never reciprocates the love.... I just want him to know that I care about him, but damn he's so strict and only says "I love you" to his girlfriends, not even friends or family.
We are just never on the same page. And when we ARE actually on the same page, it's a rare occurance.
How the hell are taurus and scorpio supposed to work

Scorpios can be cold & distant and we also don't throw around the word "love".
I can only think of 2 possible reasons why your friend doesn't say I love you back.
1. It might be a cultural thing for him. In some cultures, saying I love you or being affectionate with regular friends and family is not something people grow up seeing. Hence it might not come naturally to them to be this way with friends/family.
2. Maybe he feels that you might have hidden feelings for him and he doesn't want to lead you on that's why he doesn't say it back to you.

I have a few male Taurus friends and we get along great. Even Though I know one of them might jump my pants if given the chance. ¹

Listen... No tea, no shade but if he isnt reciprocating your love you should probably stop telling him you love him. It sounds like he's setting up a boundary and you're kind of crossing it. If you really care about him just show him you care about him and he'll get the message.

That is, unless... you have ulterior motive and really are trying to forge something more than a loving "friendship"... 😉

Because he doesn't love you. Why say it back if you don't mean it? That's what he is thinking. I don't like to say it unless I mean it and more than likely I'll show it without saying it. Could be my Virgo Venus though *shrugs*

I don't say I love you to any of my friend. Lovers only.

I am afraid if my friend tells me he loves me and I don't have feelings - for sure I'll go distant and cold. uncomfortable feeling.

Yes you are right about number 1! He's from Mumbai or Bombay, I believe there has been a name change, not quite sure which one it is now and too lazy to Google it. Well he grew up there and moved to the US in his early twenties. I on the other hand was born and raised in the US.

We are actually warmer than all the other 11 signs. Only very few people ever get to see this though.

I dont tell my friends and family I love them either. I just try to actually show it instead of repeating the words until theyve lost their meaning.
