This is the problem with most people I believe they only see their path in things in life... instead of excepting the path that is really for them... they don't have to jocky for it...

This is why they say is... surrender your will to Christ... or the will of the universe... Obviously you have to fallow some path but if you don't focus on the jockying and things keep falling in place then it is to be... sometimes the jockying can trip up even the best of horse... that are in front... and possibly brake their legs and never finish... Eyes forward... never compare or judge yourself... reach as high as you can and who knows...

Pisces, this was just a joke thread and the vid is a goofy commercial about clueless maffia guys who steal a horse in Europe for racing only to find out on the track that they stole a dressage horse, not a racehorse. 😉

I do agree about keeping your eyes on your own path, though.

Now for my OCD horse lecture of the day...because horses.... The sad truth is most racehorses break their legs while running because they start racing them so young, always before they are even 2 yrs old. They haven't stopped growing, their growth plates haven't closed, and their bones and such aren't ready to handle the kind of regular stress that's placed on them. Add that the less than honest owners will also drug a horse to mask any pain so they can run and pass the vet exams pre-race and a horse with a stress fracture could literally snap a leg while on the track. The high profile races with the big name horses get the most attention when they break down on a track; Ruffian, Barbaros, Eight Belles. The claims races see far more horses breaking down on the track but it isn't as publicized. They would have a faster and stronger horse if they would wait until the horse is at least 5 before racing or competing. This would cost the owners 5 yrs of paying for feed, etc. and not having any profit and therefore it is never done.

Yes... I know... MoonArtist... I look at things very different often... as you would say the path less travel is longer and harder but provides a more study and consistent out come... It is often the path traveled the most that is instant gratification... maybe having short term gains... and quicker... but in the end that horse stayed oh it's path... was not joking for position... and did not let anyone tell it want to do... Instincts strong to fallow the pack... knowing everyone one was yelling... run why not... The horse simple said F and U... I will do it when I am ready... Unfortunately animals are animals and can be manipulated through their instants easier then humans... of course this depends on general maturity... which greatly verys from individual.

I just think about things different ok...
