Just wondering... are Scorpios obsessive?

Hey, just curious about whether it's true that Scorpios are prone to obsessive behaviour. I realize that I have this tendency to overdue some things. I don't know why that is, but I guess it may be because I'm a Scorpio?

Yea, I can be pretty obsessive.

I can imagine how my thoughts/behaviors/attitudes would seem creepy to the average outsider.

Unless youre a Scorpio yourself (or even another water sign), its difficult to explain in words... 'Obsessive' is such a horrible word lol.

We like to think Deeply and Thoroughly about something or someone that interests us. This is seen as 'obsessive'.

As anotherscorp said - it is going on inside our minds that is why on the outside we appear very cold and aloof sometimes (well most of the time for me lol).

Im a very deep thinker that sometimes I completely block out the world and go into an almost trance like state. We love our privacy where we can do just that - THINK.

Yes... Scorpios are obsessive -- Moody Broody bunch if ever there was one! And yes, it is an internal struggle with barely a ripple on the surface most of the time (very similar to Virgos)... But when it does erupt, watch out!

I'm a Virgo with Scorpio Rising -- a double whammy! I attribute a lot of my Dark Days as a teenager to this combination.

We do tend towards OCD. We fret about things more than Scorps, but both Signs can be hard-headed. Virgs are more likely to compromise, IF we know that our Scorp is sincere about whatever they're obsessed about!

Obsession is not always a bad thing. It shows we care deeply about something, and sometimes it takes single-mindedness to get a difficult thing done (like dating a Virgo!)...

I missed both my classes godamnit!..after waiting 2 weeks, both days I had to work late...blasted working life!...

I will have to really dedicate two days a week...but this poxy waiting list for classes is ridiculous if you ask me!...Sheesh..

Scorp men seem to be more obssessive than scorp women. IMO.

Absolutely been having Mars retro communication foulups. In fact, the Scorpgal I'm communicating with and I have had two very misunderstood conversations in one days time. First one was actually hillarious, the second, not so much.

Yes, MM. It's been a NIGHTMARE. I've just given up on speaking with anyone and gone into hermit mode. I also have NO energy. 😢

I think they just obsess about different things. Scorp men obsess about their relatonships/jobs, the women seem to obsess more about details. I say this because, I can't tell you how many long emails/phone calls I've gotten from my scorpie chicas venting (and SERIOUSLY angry) about how boyfriend/fiance/husband threw his towel on the bathroom floor ("I AM NOT HIS MOTHER!") or how boyfriend/fiance/husband's family are douche bags (Why do we have to plan our whole x-mas holiday around THEM? I have family, too."), etc. 😉

Scorp men are so obsessive with you, the thought of you, even dreaming of you (wet dreams at that LOL!!!) Anyway, they want to know every little thing about you. What you did with your day, if they are around they are constantly asking what are you putting on your neck - a necklace - where did you get that from, who gave it to you. Nice earings, Is that your jewelry box, do you sleep with your closet light on? Or, I can feel when someone else is thinking about you other than me... Weird. Sometimes a turn on in a sick way though. I hope, I am not that obssessive, I don't think I am. When in love, I do want to know everything, how you are, how you feel, is there something/anything I can do to make you feel better? LOL!!! But not in a nagging way.

And AS SOON as you walk in the door. Especially if you've been out during an "unscheduled time" - like at the gas station. "Where ya been? Who'd ya see? Whaddya know?" :o I don't mind questions, but all those fired at me at once made me feel trapped in a John Grisham novel sometimes.

I used to get "Are you writing a book?" YES! And it's all about you, you, YOU! So spill it! HAHAHA! You know what, though? I've found the WORST sign as far as asking questions are Aquarians. OMG...ENDLESS! A conversation with my Aquarian mother is more like an interview for the first ten minutes...every time. Even if I just spoke with her yesterday..I mean how much could have happened?
