Oh crap...

So, I think I may have a teeny weeny crush on my boss's boss (which in turn, is my boss).
He is a Scorpio and I am a Cancer.
This sucks because I kind of just came off of a Libra.
In fact, when I first met him I put on a serious cold face to his friendliness because I was "waiting" for this Libra to decide.
I just hate that as soon as I decide not to be attracted to anyone, someone always comes along.

It's nothing much though. It's a very friendly job, so we are very friendly to each other.
I'm a very quiet person and he'll tell me how quiet he use to be when he first started there and that he is still a pretty shy guy.
Bull. lol
He's got the lightest brown eyes I've ever seen on a person in my life. Just beautiful eyes.

Anyway, as he is my boss, I doubt this will go anywhere, but I think I'd be up for a Scorpio.
He'd probably be a better fit for me than that aloof Libra.

lol. I don't agree with me dating anyone I work with or for though.
Initially, I thought we'd be working together because of how I met him and his friendly demeanor, which is part of the reason I was a bit cold to him.
But no, even worse, he's a boss's boss. haha

Other than that though, I wouldn't really have a problem with it.
Personality-wise, if he is a true Scorpio, we'd probably hit it off, as I am a true Cancer.
I'm not as emotional as a use to be (still a looooooong way to go as far as control goes), but I am an intense person.
Scorpio could hopefully handle that intensity.

I don't think it's the scorpio that will have any problems with handeling intensity.

I'm a water sign, a Cancer at that. Intensity is the name of my game... fortunately... and unfortunately.
Me personally, I feel at home when things are intense. Intensity shows that you are apart of this and care deeply.
That is why I didn't work with the Libra guy, you'd thing being as attractive as he was, he'd be intense.
Plus, intensity (so long as it is mutual) makes things go faster. I like that.

Why does everyone keep saying to run?
I've never been into a Scorpio. It's been mostly air signs for me. Sooo, I don't understand the need to run. lol
Or the problem with intensity.

I know right? It's not even that I found his passivity unattractive-- cause he is still hot on several levels-- but yeah just down right annoying.

What's your experience with Scorpio CluelessCancer?

There's not enough THREAD SPACE....get ready for the mind games...and the emotional up and downs...and the freeze..but than again Virgo's are just as bad...without the intensity...so ya go for it..just make sure it doesn't hinder your work or career prospect.

I am not going to go after him. If he keeps talking to me, I'll let him know that I am interested-- if I still am.
I doubt it would hinder the work. They discourage relations, but they say if it happens keep it on the DL. lol
I expect nothing though.

Well, I get mind games, but could you describe these emotional up and downs and the freeze. Is that the same as shutting you out? Surely a Scorpio can't be worse/better at these than a Cancer generally.

I feel like there is a sign saying "It's a trap." on this Scorpio's head and everyone else can see it but me. lol
But, as I've said, I'm not pursuing him. In fact, I've done a good job ignoring him seeing as we'll be around each other a lot at work. Besides, with my luck, he's probably gay. lol

With that whole dominating thing (I have a family member who is a serious Scorpio and loooooves S&M- love them 🙂) I kind of want that right now. I don't even have to be dating you, we can be friends with benefits.
As a very inexperienced and relatively distant person and Cancer, I just don't feel as though my emotional relationship needs are being met and regular "meetings" would cure that for me I think. It would be affirmation in a physical form in which I would translate to an emotional thing.
I tried to get that from the Libra, but gosh he moved so slow. Hope I haven't.
