[Discovered in 1930, Pluto is the super planet of our solar system. Despite its distance and size, Pluto packs a powerful punch, just like Scorpio -the sign it rules. This is because Pluto power is focused power. Like Scorpio, Pluto focuses all of its energy and attention on the task at hand, giving 100 % of itself. This is why miraculous feats are sometimes performed under its influence.

Superman, who was poplarized 9 years later in comic book fashion, represents Pluto power (so do all other superheroes and supervillains). Instead of wasting his energy on food and sex and other debilitating habits, he redirects all of his energy into serving mankind. Superman has Pluto in Leo, the sign of heroics. Wherever you have Pluto in your chart, that is where you can exercise extreme power -for good or bad.]

I know someone who has Pluto in his 1st house. He can concentrate so hard in some things, the whole week just disappears. And it's not the daydreaming sort, either. Other things, concentrating even slightly delves him into too-much mode, where he feels queasy very quickly.

There seems to be no rhyme nor reason (from his perspective) as to which scenarios cause which result.

I guess that puts him in Pluto's Libra Gen, according to the article... he is definitely an extremist in justice. Heavy 12th house influences, so a rich dreamscape with full-fledged aspects/characters, and the most prominent one of all is the "Justicar". This one is at his core; it's the most integral part of him. He is also heavy into the appreciation of -- and categorizing of -- music. "...extremely selective in their relationships for the simple reason that once accepted they will give you their all..." "They also ... hate superficiality. Once they end a relationship it is usually permanent." Yes and yep, though that sounds more like Scorpio than Libra. Definitely him.

But my perspective on our Pluto's can be difficult to discern. His, in 1st house, matches his Rising, so who's to say whether I'm noticing a Rising or a Pluto? And mine, Scorpio Gen Pluto, matches my Scorpio Sun. "There is no stopping these people once they set their sights on a goal or mission." Yeah, that's me (I can set it aside and come back to it, but will keep it in the to-do for over a decade if need be), but is it my Sun or my Pluto? "...tremendous emotional depth and intensity." Actually, that's stronger in him than in me. He has Scorp Moon, Scorp Mars; I have Scorp Sun, Scorp Pluto.

So I dunno. xD But I'm'a hug him.
