All very true.

People get into relationships with someone who's addicted to one thing or another, find themselves trapped
in a war against that addiction. They find they have to constantly fight the one, they love, FOR...... the one, they love.

Verbal, sometimes, physical fighting, or worse, become the inevitable norm in such relationships.
And if there be fighting, how can there be peace, let alone true happiness and bliss?
There cannot.

Only the strong can endure these kinds of relationships. THIS is where the saying "Love Is Blind", applies.
Of course, there IS a problem with "BLIND" love, when the one who blindly loves to the point that they are physically
and/or psychologically and emotionally abused.
