Scorpio 'maneuvering',

A friend of mine once described Scorpios Suns as 'maneuver masters', she basically meant they're manipulative. Now, I do not like to generalize, and I also have a few Scorpios that I love dearly who's loyalty I never question. And I can't lie, I swoon for their jealousy. Is it weird to want your Scorpio love interest to desire to possess you? lol Anyway, I've had a few confusing love interests in the last year, don't judge. Nothing has been official, and I'm always looking for that ONE. Have a lot of Taurus and Libra influences in my chart, which would explain that.

Anyway, I've been dealing with another confusing Scorpio for over a year and a half; on and off basically. And he will NOT let me go. But he's terrible at communicating, won't meet me halfway and I basically just feel like he's manipulating me to be his comfort -- I know myself that men like to stay with what they know, even if it isn't their 'great love'. And I believe that of some Scorpios sometimes. I think they can romanticize mediocrity at times in order to remain comfortable. Now, this is not all Scorpios and I'm certainly not calling myself mediocre. I just feel that if a man really wants and loves you, especially a Scorpio, he'd devote himself to you. And I don't feel like we click in a way that would inspire this in him.
In this year and a half, he keeps coming back telling me how much he cares for me. And yet, he refuses to make it official with me. And he had the audacity to say recently that he wanted to spare me 'emotional pain' of seeing him like other girls photos on facebook. Revealing photos, not just of their face. Like, you fuckin' seriously bro? He acts as if he cares so much and is so sensitive but I really have a feeling he's a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Any Scorpio Suns wanna help me figure this one out? lol

And what he meant by sparing me of my 'emotional reaction' to that was that we not be friends on facebook. Yeah, he pisses me off, and I take a lot of crap from him lol

OH! And, in all this time I have met NO ONE in his life; he's super private and won't allow me into his life very much. I'm trying to figure out if this is just Scorpio pace or he's just treating me badly.

Yea...after a year in a half, most would be able to figure out he's not into you. He's not devoted = you are simply a volunteer stand by.
