scorpios & competition

Was wondering if Scorpios are really competitive or not. Also, would you think they like to compete with friends or enemies. If with friends, is it a sign they like you or don't like you.

ROFLLLLLLLLLLL Who me? Competitive? Ummmmmm Does "If I can't win, we aren't playing" sound competitive to you? lol Seriously, if it's something I find important, I won't even attempt it if I don't think there is a chance I can win. I have to admit, I HATE to lose - though I have learned through years of practice (lol) to lose gracefully - I just scream later when I'm alone. 😛

As for it having anything to do with whether I like someone or not - it has absolutely nothing to do with that issue, because if I don't like you, I won't even bother with you in any way, including competing with you - because if I lost to someone I didn't like *ouch* the ego would pay the price dearly lol. Hey, I'm being brutally honest here - don't shoot me. 😛

Hi everyone. I'm a newbie.

Forgive my slight rant, but I've been reading a few of these boards. I'm sick of these stereotypes. Like this one. Competition. Why play a game if you don't want to win? Call it competitive, I call it common sense. I'm not a sore loser, but I leave my heart on the field or court or whatever else I'm doing. As for competing with enemies or friends. Doesn't matter. I'm just sure to put that much more "ump" into ripping the heads off enemies (LMAO).

😉 Hmmmm. Guess I am competitive(lol).

By the way Angel, appreciate the hug. We Scorps do give the warmest hugs.

OJ such a sweetheart. Well me as a double cancerian am extremely competitive and possessive. Usually I am excsptioanlly well composed. But when I see myself loosing out to someone, or being pushed beyond limits, I retaliate like a dragon turning everything in it's way into ashes. One astrologer told me that this is due to mymars conjunct pluto which is very scorpionic in its essense. So now....

I can be competitive in certain situations. Any sort of game, or sport (although I'm really not very "sporty", but if I'm forced to play, lol). I refuse to compete in certain situations, though, like... for a guy. Absolutely never. Shouldn't have to. Won't reduce myself to that. But, you know, things like Poker, or thumb-wrestling. Watch out. 😛 (It's all in good fun, though. Never been accused of being a bad sport.)

I am usually quite mellow in things I don't care about, but when I do, I am very competitive, to the point of obsession and I will do anything for my goal. OK I can't even stand other people saying these things, as in telling people that they are competitive and MUST win. That immediately triggers feelings of jealousy and of being threatend, so it makes me want to top them and work even harder and obsess even harder. Anyway I have sun conjunct pluto but it's a very wide conjunction; does anyone know if this still has any effect on my life. I read that it has a great deal Scorpionic influence.

Yes I do play to win and take loosing badly to begin with. But I am able to see the lessons learned that can be learned.Setbacks/disappointments/loosing are all pathways towards growth.

My sister is a scorpio, and she has always been competetive in what ever she decides to participate in. She is very strong willed and intense (not to mention) a little knock out in the looks department.

I was wondering one thing though she is very petite, is this a trait of scorpios? I just dont know enough of them to have made a comparreson. We did not see eye to eye when we were teenagers but we love each other dearly now.

It seems she always thought that I was ratting on her when she went and did something she was not supposed to so was angry with me alot.

Check this out though it was my mom that was doing it. It turns out that my sister can be coaxed to talk in her sleep. She will answer questions and everything. I heard my mom in our room one night talking to her very quietly.

She was asking what my sister had done about something and my sister answered with the truth. I then told my mom that what she was doing was just not right. I added that I hoped she had not done the same thing to me-(she said she had not).

Anyway I told my sister about the fact that it was she that was telling on herself and how it was being done. After I told her my mom could not get anything out of her while alseep. lol Poor little thing she could not figure out how my mon knew the stuff she did about where she was and what she was really doing at times. She was alot nicer to me after that though, so it was a good thing, but my mom was kind of upset with me for telling her.
