Secrets

They're dirty, they're mean, they're mighty unclean (and NOT AC/DC?): they're secrets. And really, what the muck is it all about anyhow? Why do you do it? Why- in all seriousness- do you end up understating or averting the point of something, or escaping life altogether, through them?

Not all secrets are dirty or mean...and as to why we do it, I suppose it comes more naturally to us to keep it in and hide the most important things, rather than to be open. Why? Because we're hurt especially easily, and more deeply, and more irreparably than the other signs. It's a form of keeping the balance of power in check, also. The less someone knows about you, the more power you have over them--sort of the "upper hand". We don't want to give other people too much power over us by allowing them access to all our secrets, because most people will abuse power.

I don't think scorpios hurt any worse than a cancer. My o friend had so many secrets, that it destroyed a very close friendship between us - I can't look at him, without just wanting to smack him, because he made a fool out of me, and that hurt so, so bad!

I don't know, sometimes a secret can be a good thing. As long as you're not hurting anyone and it's not illegal...

..but in my case it hurt alot -

The point of having a secret is to keep it from people who can hurt you with it.

No, the virgo - ugh! Secrets galore - and deception. Painful! I loved this person dearly, but I cannot look at him the same way again. The scorpio is still around, and pops back in from time to time to catch up. He's a good guy, trustworthy, and sweet. I do like him still, but he has things to work out.
We'll see....I have a nice connection with the scorp.
