Interview any potential roommates yet? Have any nut cases stop by?

Thanks for asking, sloane! I've interviewed quite a few people, my god, there are some deranged people out there! I'm trying to find a roommate that I can be friends with, but doesn't want to date me. While it would be nice to live with my partner, it'd be very uncomfortable if we were to break up. I've been trying to think of all the possibilities of issues that come up.

Oooh, yeah I'd be hesitant about that, too. Lots of room for serious uncomfortability factors. Although if I had already been going out with someone for quite some time, it would be something I would consider. That's a tricky one. Have you interviewed any ladies? Not that all men are scarily unreliable, but you may be able to find some less scary, *more* reliable potential roomates in the female gender. Just a weird thought I had.

Strange enough Phoenix, I didn't even think of interviewing girls. I think that would be much easier than trying to deal with guys.

Actually, I've decided to wing it and pay for my place by myself. The person I thought was going to be my roommate is unreliable.

Sorry to hear that Scorp guy and you're probably right by winging it instead of getting possible headaches from a roomie. I've been there.

Although...on the other hand, I have to say that although I live alone, I for one wish I had a roommate 'cuz it gets a bit scary now and then being a woman living on her own. There's always the offchance of a criminal busting through the door at night or an alien by my bedside poking me with a prong.

lol sloane, your imagination is working overtime. 🙂 I kind of wish I did have a roommate. I'm the only child, so I've always wanted someone to talk to when I'm at home. Perhaps that's why I cherish friends so much?

He's my favorite too Phoenix--he really "made" that show. If only we could all have a fun, eccentric roommie without the mind games....

Hey Sloane, I finally found a roommate! My co-worker/good friend and I are moving into a brand new place. It's a 2 bedroom apartment, so we have enough personal space. I took Phoenix's advice and went with a girl for a roommate. She's like the Yin to my Yang (she's a Leo). We've decided on the decorating, and everything is all set to go. 🙂
