Being a scorp I am always up for a challenge, I don't give up easily and I'm use to getting what I want...when challenged, I'm all over it but sometimes..*keyword* TIME takes it toll and even though I'm not one to give up there comes a times when its no longer a challenge but more of a headache...I only give up on things when I know I have tried everything in my power to obtain them...and I may only give up them up temporarily to come back fully charged & ready to go...how do other scorps feel about this...the challenge, the feeling of defeat..how does it affect you?

The back and forth & games suck, any challenge in general...personal,professional,relationship, friendship any challenge...maybe a goal you have set for yourself within a specific time frame that you have not yet accomplished..how do you perceive the challenge? The thrill of it all..how do you handle defeat? Do you walk away & never look back or continue until you et what you want..

Oh I see. I'm going to brag a bit for a second but just ignore it 😛

I usually take on a challenge when someone tells me I can't do it. For example I was told 5 times I would never be able to walk...I took the challenge and 4 times I won...this last time no one will listen to me but I haven't given up...that kind of defeat I cannot handle.

I was also told I'd never get to uni because I left school too early...well I accepted that challenge as well and have done 2 years at uni (half of it was because I failed a paper lol).

So those kind of challenges...where I'm told I can't do it and I feel it affects my view of myself as a person I take very seriously and I will not stop until I get it..defeat isn't really an option even if I KNOW it won't work, I won't stop trying.

A challenging relationship or friendship is a bit different...I don't really attack it...I cling to it. There's no thrill in it and the defeat is heartbreaking but I can't give up without exhausting myself. This is a type of challenge that I will let go of and pick up again later. For instance a friendship from highschool was one-sided for years and eventually I had to give up, now I'm trying again but I won't try as hard this time.

When it's a goal that I've made for myself I will take my time and I may forget about the goal for a while and go on a path of a different one, but I don't really give it up...if that makes sense. So one of my goals is to write a novel lol...I find that a challenge and I'm not rushing it but I also sometimes forget about it a bit when my attention is needed somewhere else.

I don't really get a thrill when it comes to challenges, it feels more like determination and a burst of passion...as well as pride. Defeat makes me depressed but also charges me for the next challenge.

I perceive them as learning experiences and a must for growth.

The back and forth shit ...i catch on to it rather quickly, and it gets old.
It can be mentally draining, and of course a waste of the most important aspect, time.
I always take on things in silence, regardless of the challenge.
Sometimes you may hear me say a few things, but it is likely that i will stay low key.
Like my man Nas said "I never brag, how real i keep it - cuz it's the best secret."

Sometimes i feel like everything that everyone else does, that relates to what i am doing, is a challenge (or like i am being challenged.) This can be good in the sense of working hard, but it also can come off like i am constantly trying to be on top or something of that nature, which i am not a big fan of. I could care less who wins - i just know if i put my mind to something it can be done. I have a hard time giving up, which can be great, but yes it can be draining. You eventually get to a point of questioning one's motives/ or next move to see if it is even worth it. Sometimes you even get to a point where you know, you have done everything you can. (that is when if something is going to happen, it is not in your power.....or so it seems)
