When we look at her biography, we can all agree that she deserves the "Ultimate Scorpio woman" award:
- In early 1933, at age 18, she stars in the Czech film Ecstasy, "the first mainstream non-pornographic film to depict a female orgasm and portray sexual intercourse".
- In 1937, she escapes her husband and flees to Paris where she meets famous Louis Mayer (co-founder of MGM studios) who will promote her in Hollywood as the "world's most beautiful woman".
- At the beginning of WW2, she becomes interested in science and tries many inventions (an improved traffic stoplight and a tablet that would dissolve in water to create a carbonated drink).
- In 1942, she co-invents "frequency-hopping" with avant-garde composer George Antheil. Today the basis for GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth communications etc...
- She also uses the money she gained in Hollywood to help with the war.
Beautiful, sexy, taboo, smart, courageous... Hedy Lamarr reminds us why we love Scorpio women so much 🙂
