Good point about the difference between the two! I've been w/ my scorp for 4 yrs. I think part of the "magic" is keeping it spicy, thrilling and surprising!

LOL!!!!! antibling, that's the raw, straight forward stuff I love about your Scorps! I wouldn't say that I'm your typical softy type Cancer...the more wild (together, that is) that better. I think chemistry is among the utmost importance in a long term relationship. They Scorpio men are arse guys! I'd have to agree with that one, too!

Hahaha you know what? I don't even know! I used to think that I knew what I wanted lol, but I'm sure that I've never really believed it.

DB, I read your profile, and with as much Scorpio as you have I'm pleasantly surprised (mainly because it seems as though Scorpios tend to not be as expressive as maybe some of the other water signs) that you seem as open and passionate as you are.

I have a huge passion for life and especially for love and as much as I adore my Scorpio, sometimes I wish he would feel just a free about expressing what's in his heart as I do.

Maybe it's not just one thing. You don't necessarily have to desire one thing more than another. There's nothing wrong with wanting the whole (or at lease most) package as long as you compromise, too.

Do we ever really know what are desires are? Doesn't it seem like as soon as we think we have all we could want..something else sparks our thoughts or desires? We just have to keep it under control and not be selfish..not always an easy task. 🙂

I have never felt the influence of of the so called desires except in the case of my soulmate. For him I have felt and feel everything beyond all limits..totally out of control that I keep feeling dizzy and may be bordering to obsession. And i try hard to focus on many other things---mainly work and other duties...something to keep myself sane and do something which would make both of us proud. He keeps telling me that I have it in me for making to the top and keeps proding me to aim higher and do hard work.

To me, our desires are longings to have..

But the trouble comes when you 'have' when you thought you wanted to have and realize that you don't know what you want to have anymore.

that is a strange combination. of course gemini having the 6-8 vibration with scorpio is considered to be good for love attractions. But I doubt if it would have worked well if the sexes were reversed. Especially since loyalty is a must for scorp women and gemini MEN are not that famous for that virtue.

Anyway true love is something unexplainable.

Yea, Committment. But also a world more..

We want someone reasonably tough and someone sensible, we tend to want someone a lot like that, in the end, because we have this inborn need to impress the best, and to impress upon the natural order. Basically we need someone to keep fueling us to desire. We tend to just want someone worthy of coming with us in our journeys through life.

Put it this way, if Scorpio's are the magnets, then you had better be a whole lotta precious, high-caliber metal. Our jobs, really, are to be our own magnets, so planning to try and attract us all the way into you life just won't do - either for men or women - I hate to be the bearer of dissappointment - but magnetized things don't neccessarily want to attract other magnets do they?? They want to attract other things. Your only chore is to be worth it! Worth our secrets, our trials, our adventures, our desires, our nights, our days, our goals - you've just got to be worth it, and if you are, we WILL reach for you.

Elliot ~ Thank you for saying that so well. I totally agree. I remember saying something like this on another thread, but not as "poetically" 🙂. This has definitely been my experience with Scorpions of both sexes. Right now, however, I'm talking about the men, since I am a woman. I've found that basically the only way to get a scorpion man is if he is interested in you and makes the first move, if not, it's almost impossible to get him. I almost feel they are a little like cats in that sense ... they say you don't choose cats as pets, "they" choose you as pets. 🙂
