I haven't written about our Scorpio Twins in a while, so here's a brief update as they approach Nine Months of torturing their parents (little buggers!):
1. Size: While they're still below the curve, our Son has caught up with our Daughter - I think because he stayed on The Breast so damn much! [Yep, no doubt he's mine!]
2. Mobility: They are all over the frickin' house! I put up a barrier to keep them off the stairs, and they managed to pull it down a couple of times. In fact, they pull up on anything and everything... shit! Once they can walk, we'll never be able to keep up with them!
3. Language: Our Daughter is really trying to make words. Our Son is content to grunt, groan, moan, and... fart! Some of his farting is almost like Morse Code. I know - TMI!! Anyway, She is so cute when she's trying to get your attention, and tell you something (wish I could post some pictures!). I think she understands way more words than he does...
4. Play: It's probably me, but our Son likes rough-housing more than our Daughter. He'll get the Nerf football and waggle it at me, and I'll roll him over & over -- she doesn't care for that one bit! But, she loves her swing, while he doesn't have the patience for it.
I have to admit that early toddlerhood was *not* my favorite time -- all diapers and defiance! Do you have My Gym down South? That might burn off some energy a couple of times a week.
Truthfully, they sound adorable, Dy. Nice to hear that they are so healthy.
Eagle
P.S. I wish I lived down South -- just read "Rhett Butler's People" -- a GWTW sequel. You guys have all the romance!
