As far as I know Christianity is the only religion in the world introducing 666 stuff and mark of the beast, 10 headed dragon and etc..

I just think people need to slow down on thier destructive habits and the planet will be able to catch up in fixing itself.Otherwise it won't be for away until the moon finally drifts out of orbit and off it's axis,it's moving away from the earth little by little and it's not orbid related and this is the only planet with only one moon.Im curious about if there was another moon coming towards the earth that may have been the cause of the iceage.As far as th religious stuff goes good for the compassionate morals and stuff but the rest is just to put fear in people to control them me thinks as well.

I think the end is drawing near. The Bible says also that in the end times, people will be lovers of themselves indulging in all types of immorality. I cannot deny this occurence today and all I can do is put my complete hope and trust in Christ. He says He will be with us even till the end of the age. I plead with anyone on the basis of love to repent and turn to Christ just as the site link Elliot gave us says. Not out of fear. God does not force us into submission by fear, but because of His love. God said if you draw near to Him He will draw near to you. The gift of mercy is being held out to everyone and please do not refuse to take it for all of your own sakes. I know libras are indecisive by nature, but this is the one thing in my life I have made a strong complete decision on and I believe it with all my heart and that's why I dare to address the issue openly. Because along with having the hope of heaven, comes the truth of hell and because I believe what God says about those who go there, I feel it my duty to let my fellow humans know. But weigh the Word of God objectively. Taste and see that He is God. He will be exalted and glorified in the heavens and the earth.

I wouldn't worry about the planet, humans are so tiny, they can only hurt themselves. A 1000 years to heal is nothing for a planet.

Banning reproduction for 15 years while totally exploring new ways of doing things would greatly help. Reducing the world's population by as much as 90% would solve so many problems. It's kinda cool that it won't happen though, i like to see people swim in the misery they cause. I'm evil.
I have looong ignored this Christian Apocalypse warning in order to focus on things that are considered positive anyways. I realize that everything is an Illusion, but are we all so delusional that we cannot all decide that Jesus Is Lord??
I would rather go through my Life striving to see behind GOD's so-called 'Strong Delusion' taking notes on how I see the world and Spirituality, and on how I can be somebody of Great Spirit, and on how I can be of Greatest Help to the world, and on how to promote everything that's Pure in the Earth, and then compare MY OWN notes with The Bible and with The Word of Jesus Christ and make the changes that I need to make for the better in my own Way of Being (acknowledging that I'm NEVER PERFECT and that Jesus Truly was) --- If I'm wrong for any of that then I must need to go to HELL..but if not, then I suggest that Everybody live a Life of Spirituality like that.

I see what Elliot is saying...how is it possible that most humans are going to hell simply because they are dumb or adamant or unyielding by nature? I have wondered the same things many times. What I think is that this God is based on love, and like I said in my long expose on a different thread, life is just war between hate and love because God is love. Friends how can this world not be based on love? It is a fact we all simply cannot deny. All I can say is that everyone makes the choice...that is, between love and hate in their lifetime. Love leads one to God, the true source of love revealed through Jesus Christ. Hate leads one down the path of uncertainty and fear to death. It is more simple than we think. But like I said, I feel bad that you all must think I am closed minded and brainwashed. If I were a non God believing libra loooking at what I say and these strong beliefs I would criticize them as being hasty conclusions and things not thought through thoroughly. I would consider faith as something one could never know without a doubt. But I have tasted the presence of God by His mercy. By His grace He has showed me a glimmer of His magnificent glory, a thing that makes my beliefs irreversible. None of you must understand this. But like I said priorly, it is simply a battle between hate and love. Choose love and you find God. Choose mediocrity, middleground, strong aetheism, work based rituals (Buddhism, Hinduism, etc.), new age and you are choosing hate because you are choosing what is not love. Only God through Jesus Christ claim the love is above all else. Again, please forget that I am so strongminded in this matter.

What if...Heaven and Hell were not meant for "after I die" but instead for right now, while we are living? We have the ability to create a life of Hell for ourselves and a life of Heaven for ourselves - this about us living IN the moment. I have not been able to quite understand why some choose to make their choices for after they die rather than for living on Earth now. Isn't that what is truley most important? Who we are now and how we impact this world by us being here? So many of us have been "conditioned" to live FOR the future or IN the past that we forget about living IN the moment. Our minds are running off in so many directions that we lose our moments - Moment gone is gone forever it's like water through our hands....never to return.
Moments....our gift to each one of us to create as we choose. Doesn't get any better than that!

TrueVenusian, my Mother is Christian so I have spent a long time somewhat experiencing what any Christian sees and expresses and believes and feels. Two questions though:
What examples have you seen of God's Love that suggests it is only through the Christian Way that we can be 'saved'?
And why is Buddhism "mediocrity" when Buddhism is mere philosophy that reminds us to incorporate All Natures into our own and become One With All?? Buddhism beckons us to see that God Is All and All (The Universe) Is God..Love Is All (Therefore, God Is Love even in Buddhism)...Each human is a part of All..so why do you say that Buddhism is not teaching what Christianity teaches??

You asked me for examples that love in Christ is the only way to heaven. Christ advocates love in the form of grace. The fact is that we are all incapable immoral humans who deserve hell. But God LOVED us too much to let us go there so He died so we would not only not go to hell, but that we would also be in heaven with Him forever if we accept His gift of eternal life. All other religions are different in that, the basis for our getting to heaven has to do with us and what we can do (good deeds, meditation, etc.), not on what has been done for us. That is primarily where the love of God through Christ differs from other religions. Let me be more specific.
Islam: based on a series of rituals/things one must do to get to heaven
Hinduuism: bases on going to temple and worship of idols to get to heaven
Buddhism: based on meditation within oneself to achieve inner peace in oneself (and starve oneself to death!!)
New Age: based on a series of teachings that are diverse and have arisen from various sources
Catholics/Christian denominations: based on a series of indulgences and religious practices to get to heaven
Judaism: based on the offering of sacrifices for the atonement of sin
Mediocrity/Agnosticism: refuses to acknowledge the imminency of the things that hold existence together
Aetheism: deny the existence of God by rational thought
Pleasure Seekers: want to make the most out of life (fun, reach top of social ladder, etc.), but what's the point if we end up as dust as they believe
Philosophers: view life through reflective lenses, yet search so hard for the truth that should be so evident to all (i.e. love)

You asked me for examples that love in Christ is the only way to heaven. Christ advocates love in the form of grace. The fact is that we are all incapable immoral humans who deserve hell. But God LOVED us too much to let us go there so He died so we would not only not go to hell, but that we would also be in heaven with Him forever if we accept His gift of eternal life. All other religions are different in that, the basis for our getting to heaven has to do with us and what we can do (good deeds, meditation, etc.), not on what has been done for us. That is primarily where the love of God through Christ differs from other religions. Let me be more specific.
Islam: based on a series of rituals/things one must do to get to heaven
Hinduuism: bases on going to temple and worship of idols to get to heaven
Buddhism: based on meditation within oneself to achieve inner peace in oneself (and starve oneself to death!!)
New Age: based on a series of teachings that are diverse and have arisen from various sources
Catholics/Christian denominations: based on a series of indulgences and religious practices to get to heaven
Judaism: based on the offering of sacrifices for the atonement of sin
Mediocrity/Agnosticism: refuses to acknowledge the imminency of the things that hold existence together
Aetheism: deny the existence of God by rational thought
Pleasure Seekers: want to make the most out of life (fun, reach top of social ladder, etc.), but what's the point if we end up as dust as they believe
Philosophers: view life through reflective lenses, yet search so hard for the truth that should be so evident to all (i.e. love)

this is the exact debate my family are in controversy over...
because my close family have adopted the uptake of buddhism into their lives and truely believe in the road to enlightenment so much so my family every two months traps off in to the wilderness for a week in an organization promoted to living in the elements..
itz reaaly quite beautiful i would suggest you all try it some time... in which you bath outside in a bath under the stars with homemade candles and homemade incense having gone to a nearby stream to collect the water and heat it yourself... you live off the trees and rice using tools made by man and spend the day in the sun meditating on mats or listening to people singing songs... you spend your days making weaving baskets or some form of product to sell for your stay... the people are beautiful and you really become one with nature... you walk away feeling like you can take on anything...

Misty I also love Buddhism and I believe that it is Beautiful and helps you to be One with Nature. I also see that the activities you have mentioned induce brilliant feelings of meditation and soothing and relaxation. This is not to say I'm Buddhist however.

I Believe we must all recognize that we are not Perfect..Perfect is Fully Capable, Perfect is Moral, Humans Are Not Perfect..Jesus was..all these things are "facts" that I consciously realize...
What I cannot agree with, for the time being, is that all humans who have ever lived, and who are waiting to live, will go to hell if they have not submitted to Jesus Christ. It's allll down to question of Faith, and My Faith is that Jesus Christ was a Son of God and a Perfect Being of Nature, but he is NOT the difference between our salvation and our damnation in that I do not see him being the ONLY path.
It seems almost downright disgusting to me that all humans were sent to Earth to be Imperfect, and then for being Imperfect and not submitting to Jesus, being sent to Hell...that scenario seems ridiculous to me, and there's no way I'd ever bend to that Way of thinking without the passion to do so. If that's the strong Satan voice in me pulling me away from 'The Truth', then so be it - for I Believe that there's more than one way up the mountain.

hay elliot ur uptake on chritianity is the exact same appraoch i have to it... im always debatn whether to avoid hell in the sense of that there is life after death whether ido need to follow th exact way of jesus or rather employ my own life lessons from his teachings and adopt them to my own life... because to be frank id rather follow mw own n be sent to hell.

To me no other religion comes anywhere near faith in God and I would rather be in another religion's hell believing in the power of love through Christ than in the heaven of some other religion for having done some rituals and paid some dues. This is untrue. He knows, as well as do we all, that we will sin, it is a fact of life, unless you were Mary! But as long as you honestly ask for His forgiveness and forgive yourself as well, He will forgive you! He died so we could get to Heaven, knowing that He created us to be sinners. It is those that can rise up through that though and become stronger, better people because of it.

A: I am trying to think what exactly you believe. I get 2 impressions and I am not sure which one is accurate:
1) There are ways to get to heaven through belief in perfect love outside of Jesus Christ.
or
2) People, whether Christian or not, from all walks of life, with many different personalities can come to heaven through Jesus in their own way outside of Christianity.......this I agree with.
B: What do you mean by the footsteps of Christ? The only and absolute only footsteps God requires us to follow are Christ's footsteps of LOVE. This brings us to the misconception most people have about Jesus. Forget the whole term "Christianity"...for all I care I may not be a Christian by some people's standards. I believe in love through Christ. Jesus is EQUIVALENT to love and every tiny detail about Him was divine love. It is not possible to know love without knowing Jesus and it is not possible to know Jesus without knowing love. They go hand in hand. So if what you mean about lions, snakes, etc. as those having the belief in love without knowing the term "Jesus" (for example if they are born on a remote desserted island), I believe they go to heaven for having faith in the higher love power. God said in His Word that His eternal qualities are made known in the hearts of all men, so even without being educated about the specifics of the Bible, God in His mercy reveals the truth to the hearts of all who seek Him. Most who claim to be Christians today are not true followers of Christ sadly. They hardly know their faith to be any more than a legalistic religion. God doesn't desire for us to do all the legalistic good deeds. He said in fact that we are no longer under law, but under grace and that we are to live by His Spirit of love. Please do not think that what I am advocating is Christianity as the world defines it. I advocate perfect love, which is equivalent to Christ. B: What do you mean by the footsteps of Christ? The only and absolute only footsteps God requires us to follow are Christ's footsteps of LOVE. This brings us to the misconception most people have about Jesus. Forget the whole term "Christianity"...for all I care I may not be a Christian by some people's standards. I believe in love through Christ. Jesus is EQUIVALENT to love and every tiny detail about Him was divine love. It is not possible to know love without knowing Jesus and it is not possible to know Jesus without knowing love. They go hand in hand. So if what you mean about lions, snakes, etc. as those having the belief in love without knowing the term "Jesus" (for example if they are born on a remote desserted island), I believe they go to heaven for having faith in the higher love power. God said in His Word that His eternal qualities are made known in the hearts of all men, so even without being educated about the specifics of the Bible, God in His mercy reveals the truth to the hearts of all who seek Him. Most who claim to be Christians today are not true followers of Christ sadly. They hardly know their faith to be any more than a legalistic religion. God doesn't desire for us to do all the legalistic good deeds. He said in fact that we are no longer under law, but under grace and that we are to live by His Spirit of love. Please do not think that what I am advocating is Christianity as the world defines it. I advocate perfect love, which is equivalent to Christ. Bingo indeed Elliot. And you are quite right that after the fight, we have only gained inner strength through love. But I must be honest and say that I really do feel downtrodden when people reject this truth. Why? Because I have love for people and with love comes pain. Pain in acknowledging the life one lives outside of the truth and in the eternal death that is potentially in store for them. It shows my lack of faith when I am downtrodden, but this is a weakness of mine that Christ defeated at the cross. I must claim His victory and believe in His inevitable glory and divine will for all mankind. In putting our hope in God, we "rise up with wings of eagles. We run and are not weary. We walk and do not faint." Thanks Elliot, it has been good and I will remember this conversation for the rest of my life though it was rather short and non explanatory on my part. But the truth will prevail in all its forms and my part never ends in this world. For I must always live by the Spirit, but what a joy it is to do that. Thankyou God. Thankyou Jesus. I did not even consider it a fight! I just sensed that you felt a little desperate Truevenusian, so I just offered my 'try not to feel downtrodden' speech to you haha. Where I am concerned, I am not downtrodden in the least by any opinion because I know my Faith is Correct because of how it has made ME and how it has made my LIFE.
