Why are SCORPIOS so addicted to SEX?

I have noticed many books say Scorpios are addicted to sex, and I just was wondering if anyone out there new why?

Im not really for sure why Scorpio's are addicted to sex but for the record I feel that it is true considering I can never get enough of it. My girlfriend and I are constantly having sex any chance we can get. I am a Scorpio and she is a Virgo. I think it has something to do with closeness. I know that I feel the closest to the person after having sex with them. Also, it has something to do with how sexy Scorpios are--people are turned on by us.

For one thing, the part of the body that the scorpio rules is the reproductive organs.. I think that might just have something to do with it... Also, we are very intense ppl, and sex is usually pretty intense.. I could actually go deeper into this for you, but I'm gonna have to do that at a later date.

yes i consider myself a nympho with morals. Its a quite horrible thing, i NEED sex, but at the same time it has to be special and meaningful.
