I wish I was into college ball to talk smack to ya! 😢

Oh VH, I'm disappointed in you that you can't talk smack to me without having a reason! LOL! I am not as "in to it" as I used to be, but I do like a good Cinderella story every now and then. This is when the kids' still want to play and have big hearts, and it's not about the big contracts, etc, it's all about winning!

Did you see the game? What a heartbreaker that was. They came so close to winning it with that last second attempt. Coack K was all teary at the end and all i got to say is he's a pretty classy guy for praising the fans in Indianapolis. But damn! butler had homecourt advantage, LITERALLY! Great game though. My bracket was fucked by the sweet sixteen and I had Kentucky going all the way.

NAKED HUG BACK TO YOU, USC!

((USC)) (can't make a naked dude so you'll just have to imagine him there) Hahahahahahaha!

I KNOW, that last chance with 3.8 seconds - half court attempt was heartbreaking because a. I wanted them to win, and b. IT HIT THE F@CKING RIM and looked like it could have gone in! I wanted to cry for them! Their asses were in that game the WHOLE time. They made some mistakes, but it's because they were playing with so much heart. I almost didn't watch the game, because I can't STAND Duke, and I did NOT want to see a repeat of that damn WV vs Duke came; which was a travesty btw. Needless to say, I was glad it was a GAME the whole time, so they can walk with their heads held proud. Butler came and played the whole game and didn't roll over and lift up their skirts - they fought, and sadly, they just didn't win.
Kentucky the whole way— Nope, I didn't see them or Kansas, I said that from the onset.

*naked hug....hmmmm....I'll keep dirty thoughts to myself 😉 *

Talk about innuendo, hahahahaha! ok I'll stop that right there.

Butler's got a lot of returning players, if they choose to return that is, that could come back next year and pretty much take that school back to the finals if they wanted to. They learned how to win games and that's some experience that can take you a long way.

Really? No love for WVU? I like that team, they play gritty basketball and pressure hard. Too bad they have no one who can knock down the 3 consistently. They don't have a natural center and all their players are around 6'8 lol.

I got caught up with all the John Wall talk when I was rooting for Kentucky. The guy's a straight up baller. That team was stacked too. They had Wall, Cousins and Patterson. You can't fault me for picking them to go all the way. Those three are really, really good players and are going Top 10 in the NBA draft this summer. You just can't argue with that kind of talent running around. There high octane offense also played a big part. They were blowing teams out by at least 20 throughout the season.

No, I wanted WVU to beat Duke; I was surprised on how poorly they executed that whole game, they definitely weren't on their game at all.

Yes, they had by all appearance sake the combo to win except it (much like Duke), they played as if it was a foregone conclusion they would be at the big dance...you can feel that way, but don't PLAY that way, because that can hurt you...as they saw. That's just my opinion, but I agree, they had a huge arsenal and all their players are mad ballers and will mos' definitely be drafted high!

Honestly, I just hate Duke so much.

WORD!

Wouldn't that have been crazy if WVU and Butler had played the final instead? I bet there would have been bodies flying everywhere. They were both really hungry teams.

Now THAT would have been a game, if the WV that had been playing prior to the final four game was the team that showed up, not the one that played Duke 😢

Playoffs start soon for the NBA and NHL soon. Hopefully I can get my ass around to work on a thread for that.

Your assignment, should you chose to accept it... 🙂 hahahhaaaa. Yea, can you get on that, cause it's a shame that a WOMAN is carrying the friggin' Sports board! You men should be horrified!

*GO TIGER IN THE MASTERS*

Yes, I'm sure I'll piss off some people; don't care 🙂 I want Tiger to WIN. He is rusty, and probably won't, but I want it anyway. Also, they said that since he's not been playing viewership has been down more than 50% , but when he said he was playing in the Masters' the tix went from $ 600 to over $ 2800! It's tough as shit to get those tix anyway, so now it's just crazy!

I seriously need to get my act together on here lol... And I think it's kind of cool that a woman is holding it down on the Sports board. It's not like there are a lot of you. It's really quite refreshing. Problem is not a lot of the guys on here post on this board. We had you, CJ and myself posting at a pretty good clip for a while during the NFL season and then that went to shit.

As for Tiger. Kinda like what happened to the NBA when Jordan left. Viewership dropped 32% when he first retired then it jumped back up again when he came back then it dropped. There's something about a once in a lifetime talent that just draws the crowds. Good luck with trying to land some tickets hahahaha! Tiger's got what? Four Green Jackets now? Maybe we'll be expecting number 5 soon. I'll be glad to see him on the green laying some wood to the ball again. Like most people I'm completely over the whole 50 billion mistresses thing.

"Like most people I'm completely over the whole 50 billion mistresses thing."

Yeah, I'm with you. I could care less about that. I posted this on another board, we all have things in our lives that aren't our "shining moments" so how would we like it to be posted on the web, on the front pages of the rag magazines and on t.v. 24/7. People have to heal and move on, how can you do that when it's blasted all over the damn place— Also, it has nothing to do with his playing ability; his personal business is just that - his! And let me be clear, I'm not saying this because I think he's hot or anything else like that, I just people should just let that man live his life, and people should worry about their own back yards before they start cleaning up somebody elses

Definitely. I mean, come one. Who are we to judge someone else on their past indiscretions? It's not as if we're perfect either. And like most athletes who get into trouble, if they start winning then no one really cares. We'll all be able to go back to the game and they'll deal with it themselves. Kind of funny how us people are considered as top of the food chain and yet we'll jump at the chance to cannibalize our very own at a moments notice. Nature of the beast I guess.

Exactly, people are human and they are going to make mistakes; while some mistakes are deadly and can kill you instantly, most are things that we live and learn through. Like you said, people just get on a feeding frenzy with their "holier than thou attitudes." It's as if they can smell the blood in the water, and I hate to say this, but for any infidelity cases, women seem to lose their minds, as if it is a personal affront to them that a celebrity, athlete, etc, has cheated on their wife. It's as if it's them. I understand being empathetic, etc, but some people just take it too far, and I hate to say, a lot of times it's women. It reminds me of an episode of "King of Queens." I don't know if you watch it, but the main character Doug (actor, Kevin James) has a wife named Carrie. Anywhooo, one day a lady received flowers at work, and Carrie thought they were hers, but when it was discovered they were for another woman, she was so pissed at Doug (her husband) for not sending her flowers! I thought that was the most ludicrous thing in the world until I sat back and thought about some of the things my girlfriends have gotten mad at their men about and I think to myself, "No wonder men think we are flipping crazy!" How can/should one man be held responsible/accountable for another mans actions OR inactions—?
Anyway, I'm stepping off my high horse and just saying that I'm happy to start watching Golf again!
