Breaking up with amazing person - just cuz not right :S

Well me and my pisces split. He worshipped me wanted to give me the world and was going to propose on our trip. We split before we went. I'm devastated. It's just there weren't sparks for me. It didn't feel right. I was happy, yes, but lots of people/things make me happy.

How you guys recover from something like this? I feel selfish. I feel wrong even though I know it was right. I've never had to break up with an awesome man. Really blows, especially this time of year. 😭

Hey @Op okay if there were problems and that trip was a way to rekindle whatever okay that's great.

But if between the time you were here before and now and no change yeah it's okay. If you weren't happy then you would be miserable with someone on a trip you thought was the one.

Sorry take care and keep moving by yourself or find someone else.

Trust your gut. You know you did the right thing. The longer you stay with someone who is not "right" but who you care for, the harder it gets to leave (and the worse it will get for them too.)

Very well said. I agree. I hate hurting anyone too, but ultimately he'll get over it and it will be better than being hurt worse later on.

Oh man...that's so sad. You did what is best... for both of you. If he doesn't do it for you.. then there is no point. You both will wind up miserable.

I will say something. He will reach out to you, that's how pisces operate. You can either be harsh/tough love (not respond) or be kind (respectfully tell reiterate how it is). Either choice is your call. His heart is broken anyway. The harsh way will stop him coming around and start the healing process faster, but it will hurt him way more than the kind version. The kind version will have him around longer so you both won't be able to move on as faster, but his heart won't concave on itself.

I will say this though... don't see him. That's just bad all the way around. Even if you agree that you both are friends, he will still hold out a lot of hope.
