Confused By My Taurus Friend

I've liked her for a few years. We just started kind of becoming close but still don't know anything really about each other but we are always there for each other. It's like we just have this secret pact that no one can understand. She knows I like her but I've never told her. She can obviously tell by the way I act around her. I think she likes me too but I don't know how to get to the next level. I recently found out she is in a relationship which was a shocker to me since she never mentioned seeing anyone and we constantly flirt. She recently bought me something that is my favorite thing to eat. I hugged her and she kissed me on my neck. I was really surprised since she is in a relationship. After that for a few days she disappeared and didn't return my attempts to contact her. I then see her and acted like I wasn't upset that she ignored me and we went back to connecting and lightly flirting. I think she likes me but what do I do to make her mine since she is currently someone else's. I'm thinking maybe I should back off. Should I ask her about how she feels about me or just go with the flow? I just feel like she is my soul mate.

She is in a relationship...back off, besides, if you did get with her how would you feel if she found someone else to flirt with behind your back?

Dude, this chicks only act as a friend, albeit a very warm type of personality. I do that with my guy friends a lot. You're deluding yourself by thinking she's into you.

Thanks for all the replies. We've worked together for a couple of years and I only know what we say and do at work. I'm there for her when she's feeling down and want to talk and vice versa. So that's why I say we barely know each other. I know there is more to her than what I see at work but what I do see I like if anyone can understand what I mean and where I'm coming from. That's how she knows what I like to eat. We connect on a level that I feel that no one but us can understand. Being a Cappie it's hard to really find people that understand us and she understands me and finishes my sentences. I've never felt this way about any previous girlfriend the way I feel about her. I will just fall back and just get to know her more and do what MilkySoft suggest. Thanks

They have know each other on and off periodically, not on a consistent basis to know the intricate details of each other's lives. However, despite their sporadic chance encounters, there seems to be a connection there.

She was tired of waiting for him to make a move, so she opted for more available options. However, she still interested in him, and hopes that he grows some cojones and makes a move. This is why the status of her relationship was not divulged to the Cappie.

Of course I wanted to kiss her but it would've been inappropriate due to we were at work and she's my superior. All eyes were on us but the way I was standing no one saw her kiss me. I'm just going to ask her out so we can spend time outside of work and really get to know each other. Thanks
