Did I scare this Taurus guy away?

K so this will sound really juvenile, but I need some advice from Taurus men, I never talked to one before with romantic interest.

I recently messaged one I found cute telling him so. He responded by complimenting my humor...then talking to me about politics? He'd like my posts and comments kinda reg after that, even a picture. I flirted with him pretty openly. But I did it in a humorous fashion so I think maybe that scared him off or he found it off putting? Cause now he basically ignores. Me I don't know if I'm putting too much thought into it or what. I also haven't messaged him since the first time so maybe he thinks I'm just being super flirtatious, but that's it.

I realize typing this it sounds really dumb since it has just been petty likes and a message, I have a bit of a crush on him though. I hope I didn't turn him off.

OP, personally I don't think you should be pursuing a guy in the first place. Your scenario is what happens when a woman chases a man... Doubt starts to erupt. I suggest you leave things. If he is interested (regardless of what people say about taurus men preferring to be pursued) h will pursue and relentlessly if interested - especially from the taurus men I know!

That's kind of what I thought. He seemed very shit so I thought I'd open the doors. He's so hot and cold; can't tell if he is just like this or what. I am opting to just back off cause I don't really think I'm fit to pursue

This happened to me with a Cap man. He liked my posts, flirts back. We had those stares but suddenly he just stopped like he's still friendly I guess but lost the romantic interest. He has Venus in Sag so yeah. Yes I feel you with the Hot n Cold thing. Earth signs can be a bit confusing but I learned that they tend to back away for a while to process their feelings and examine their love interest if they're worth it. I guess I wasn't. *Shrugs* Anyway I suggest you divert your feelings somewhere else to avoid getting hurt.

Ya, I have been doing that. Still kind of crushing on him, but he sort of "picked on" me I guess in a way he thought was playful and I didn't like it. He also seemed annoyed that his advance wasnt found cute in my eyes. It was so inconsiderate. I asked a Taurus friend and he said he was playing and he probably likes me.

He's back to liking my stuff and commenting, buuuuuut I donno. :/ Just gonna go about my regular routine I guess.

IME Taurus men love the pursuit. So I'd just live your life and not worry too much about him. If he's interested he will make the moves.
