Another general question.

Clearly there is a big difference and since I've often read you do like some control the vulnerability of a partner needing you you might prefer or no??

Myself I'm an Aqua, I don't like men thinking I need them but on the other hand I've been told I wouldn't notice if they weren't there...? Of course I would I can just get on without them.

My sister, is a Virgo complete opposite. She definitely has that vulnerable side that men have felt they need to take care of her. Think it's nice but I just can't do it.

Taurus are an independent sign... It's getting the balance right. You will spend a lot of time on your own so patience and independence is needed.

But to be honest, based on solely sun signs, earth and air = sand. So unless your bull has a lot of air in his chart or you have a lot of earth it won't be long lasting.

My ex hubby was an aqua... It was hell but i did the "time" and was glad to be free aged 30! Will never touch another aqua again... But I've found a fire Taurus like myself so I'm hoping that if we don't create to many explosions between us, he's the One indefinitely...

Please feel free to post your placements and your bull's placements I'd you wish.

I agree!

I hope you have personal planets in 2nd, or at least Taurus in your chart (personal planets as an example) TRINING other earth placements.

Placements are

Me: Aqua rising Libra Moon

Him: Leo rising Libra Moon

I have always read how bad Taurus/Aqua are. I think this is the bit that confuses me. As I've noticed Taurus certainly loves their own time so being independent is a pro as I am but obviously as I have heard many times it never ends wel lol! I would be interested to know what you found really did not work for you and your Aqua.

It's different when you read a general paragraph in a signs book or something and a personal experience. If anyone else also has any stories with an Aqua or can point me in the direction of a thread. That would be great!

As I said I just am curious and very interested by all of this.

I am a Taurus Sun/Gemini Moon/Aqua Rising/Aries Venus/Gemini Jupiter

I require a great deal of space. All my placements scream INDEPENDENCE!

I want to be 'wanted' not needed. This is where I differ from other Earth signs.

I can give, give, give, but it has to be on my time and on my terms.

A needy man is a co-dependent man.

I need a Man, not a child.

And I don't care to be manipulated or guilt-tripped either.

Who wants to carry the entire relationship on their back?

However, I will have faith in you, and support you. Be the King that I want you to be.

Needing someone doesn't mean having to push the damsel in distress button. I understand your apprehension about that one, but it's wider than that.

It's good to have both imo.
I agree. In a love relationship I prefer to be wanted, but having Venus in Pisces (12th house) and having grown up around a chronically ill grandparent, being needed appeals to me too. There's nothing wrong with a little vulnerability. If it becomes suffocating though, that's a different proposition.
