Not sure why you hid this but I totally go silent and cold if I'm actually hurt. Its rare, but if I get to that point, someone is going to have to work to bring me back. Then during their apology, I'm like judging whether or not its a good apology (I usually conclude that it isn't), making them relive the (greatly exaggerated) horror of what they did to me, telling them how I would apologize if I were them, why their timing/delivery/sincerity is so off, etc. Then when I realize what an ass I am being, how its mostly really been a totally over-sensitive over-reaction on my part, and at this point I am just being abusive and traumatizing them, I feel really bad and I forgive them. I also apologize for over-reacting if I'm feeling particularly humble.
^^^ I am on the recieving end of it. It's only been a few days but I think I said something that truly upset or annoy him . He shut me down ever since. If you are giving the other person the silent treatment is that because you are hurt and want to escape for a while n will come back or do I have to work hard to get you talking again !!!?? is it a coward way of saying i don't want to hear from you anymore? 😢 ..I have apologized 3 times now n maybe he's hoping I will get the hint that he's done with me ...n it's over .. I don't know.. 😢

If i am hurt bad, physical contact usually helps most. you could also scare him (since he is possibly sulking like a child here), and just ignore him. that works on me sometimes. sounds to me like you maybe cater to your men a little too much STVG. If u do that with a bull, he will definitely take advantage of it. you have to be strong, stand your ground and demand that you be treated with respect, or show them the door....

thanks! Well .. If he was next to me! I wouldn't have to do a thing! My affection wins him over always! Not the case however. Well he finally responded after 2 days!!! So I gave him my silent treatment for another two days... I'm definately standing my ground here and enough apologizing! I think I got to turn the table upside down.... The question is how!! his moon in Leo and Venus in Aries he definately likes the control !
Leo moon....hahahahahah....good luck. Now I kinda understand more where u r coming from. Taurus w/Leo moon even worse -- going to be really hard to win these kind of standoffs. Very prideful people. I know first-hand. :-)

tell me about it! He's not a typical queit Taurus I tell you that. I talk alot( my airy placements) but his moon tops it all! ..!! it's his way or no way at all. The funny thing is he managed to twist it around saying I over apologized and never said he was hurt or offended by anything I said ( yeah right) .. why withdrawn if it doesn't affect you in anyway. Apparently he was trying to help me out by cutting of contacts .! it did help though ! he's the king ..( or think he is).. Tough one. !!

I did. I left him alone for two full days as he said easy on contacts! So here he has it. My stubborn bull is kicking in and I'm seeing him at a festival in a couple of weeks. two stubborn bulls.. *sigh* let's see how this play out ! Imao

^^ the festival thing is where we both go separately to have fun dancing. We are not going to be "together" as such. I'm not too sure how to react or what to expect from him. High chance we will just be two stubborn bulls doing our own things.. If he still has a "thing" for me he should be kind and affectionate (atleast) but I'm not having my hope up. maybe he's done with me... It will only show when we meet in person...I don't know how to approach this situation. Am I supposed to give him a should colder or be affectionate with him😢

Mine gave me the silent treatment for a year. I'm use to giving them, so to be on the recieving end was VERY different, and I finally "get" it now why it bothers people...I never did before.
I said something slick to him, and he didn't respond so I didn't reach out. When we reconnected I mentioned how we disappeared on eachother and he said "I don't hold grudges" which threw me off because to me it was HIS fault. If I'm the last person to text and you don't text me back then you are ignoring and going silent on me. idk..
Either way, we are working on silent treatment number two. I was planning on cutting him off or atleast taking a break, which I mentioned to him the other day. I think he's beating me to the punch....me and my big mouth. I have a tendancy to tell him what I'm going to do, whereas he just does it.

^^^ I am detached and I have been havin a great couple of days without him. I am not heart broken nor am I braking down crying missing him. I am living my life the way I should be or even better . I know he's worth fighting for because he has been the best guy I have ever been with. I am not saying I will fight for him now and stop seeing other people. My options are open and yes there's a spot in my heart that secretly wish he will come back to my city. I let everyone else go in my life and I also let him go. If he wishes to be with other people I won't hold him back as I do the same. I'm going to let things happen natrually. if its meant to be it will be if not there is someone better out there for me 😉

I do it to avoid saying something, or acting in a way I might regret. I walk away, and return once I'm settled enough to have a rational discussion about whatever it was that was wrong.

why do this? this is pointless 😢 its not gonna get you anywhere. Make up your mind whether you want him or not...if you want him then reciprocate when he reaches out if you dont then walk away, tell him you'd rather be friends with him.
