I've been thinking of a gift to give to my Taurus man. What would you want to receive for your birthday? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

And oh, nothing extravagant please! LOL Say, $ 500 +/- should be sufficient...

Oh, good question...

Let's see, he likes cars. baseball, basketball, the Raiders (bleh), he also likes watches. He likes clothes, working out, doesn't drink (well, 2 glasses of wine a month), doesn't smoke, very religious, He;s a work-a-holic and hasn't had a "real" vacation in about 3 years... that's about all I know about him.

I don't want to give him anything that would scare the crap out of him... thinking I'm going to hop on the next train to wedding-land but as I've read about Taurus men, they can take things out of context in their head and twist it around to something that would scare them to the point of running or he'd be pressured to one-up me on my bday in August... As you know us Leo's we can go WAY extravagant with our gifts with no meaning behind it except to see the recipient happy. 🙂

HAHAHA! I had to Google that... yeah, my Taurus guy is so conservative, when we went to church together for the first time, he was like a kid locked in a Toys R Us store for a week. 🙂 Thank you.

There are also fun things on teefury.com, especially if he is a geek. Every so often they have an Ironman (the movie) tshirt, which would be a fun play on the IronMan competition. You have to check every day and you only have 24 hours to purchase them then they are gone forever. That is the gimmick of the site, but sometimes you can find tshirts later on eBay. Warning, the sizes run small and shipping is SLOW.

Go Local basket of goodies: Sauces or marinades from local suppliers, honey and jam, handmade chocolates from a local chocolatier.

If you go with clothing, I suggest all-natural soft fibers (cotton, silk, bamboo NOT scratchy wool) and high-end.

Quick addition. If any of these sporty religious Tauruses (Tauri?) are Catholic, you could get them a Saint Sebastian medal. Patron saint of sport. That might be one of those Run-for-the-Hills, spooking him gifts however.

Yes to all of this! (except I would want the kiss in a more private location (venus cancer)). I really don't need anything extravagant. I provide that for myself. I just like the thought that was put into a gift. I believe many Taurus live by K.I.S.S (Keep it simple stupid!).

He's not a drinker and I don't want him to fall asleep. 🙂 Then I'll hand over his Tiffany cufflinks which I've discovered he likes. Voila! surprise!

My Taurus man's birthday is next week. I can hardly wait. He's excited and curious what I'll be cooking for him. 🙂 He has been sick for several days because, the typical Taurus man over exerts himself, and now, he's ill, but in the recovery stage.

We also plan a getaway next month, a few baseball games, another getaway and maybe a trip across the Pacific ocean... 🙂

We've had our little arguments recently, mostly misunderstandings, but not the full blown fight that Leos and Tauruses are known for. I've decided to give him a free vacation package staying in a 4.5 star hotel and 1 night of fine dining rather than Tiffany cufflinks. Again, your typical Taurus man, he hardly traveled, whereas I'm very well traveled. So, I've decided to give him an all expense paid trip to a place he's never been before. He wants me to take him to placed I've been to. 🙂

Theres this guy at work who had a birthday Wednesday, but he's celebrating tonight. I dont talk to him much, but my Cap friend who works there and him clicked. They are cool. My friend stopped by his party a few minutes ago, and called me. I asked about it, and my Cap friend was very impressed by this guys house. He said its a nice big house and the Taurus made everything in it. From his bed down to his artwork.....if thats not impressive! Thats something I wanted to do myself, but anyway my Cap friend was also impressed by the fact that he bought the home for a ton less than its worth and he said the value is probably already way above it.The guys is single too, and no kids.....even more attractive lol.

Anyway, thought id share. My friend is rarely impressed with much, but he liked that house and all the things he made. Said the guy is really talented.
