Taurus, hard time dating non-earth sign?

Does any other else having difficulty dating outside our element? Maybe I'm placing too much placebo in it, but I just have such a hard time dating outside our Earth Element. I feel like it may be the taurus stubbornness kicking in, but all the emotions from the other signs makes things just overly confusing.

I really enjoy the company of our fellow earth signs virgo and cap, they just seem to know. But outside those 2, I always get an uneasy instinctual feeling.

Any way to get over this?

It's been the total opposite with me! I can't seem to get passed the friend zone with earth signs, but Aries and Sags have been wooing me left and right and I feel I naturally mend with their personalities far more.

Any way to get over it? Don't put too much emphasis on signs. Sure they're fun for a simple guideline to see who they could turn out to be, but pretty much anyone that I have mostly positive placements with someone turns out to be boring, but with a few negatives tossed in, turns out to be fun and exciting lol

I feel like I'm coming to a point where I'm pre-requesiting myself like ..."oh fuck this is a gemini....nope"

but you make a good point. zodiacs exist for a reason.

that's good way to put man! I just have experienced way too much things that fit zodiac signs, that it has clouded my way of seeing things. (All my best friends are virgos(srs lol), my best relationships are earth signs, and worst are like air signs).

good news though, I noticed, is when I do meet another earth sign, I go all out . No hesitation and great things come out of it.

Yeah well I've talked with a numerologist before and apparently Libras are a wild card for Taurus if born in May because for example, my bday is 05-10. If I met a 10-05 Libra, they would be a good fit for me since essentially they are my yang to my yin lol Or an Aquarius born 02-05-1990 to my 05-10-1991, because the numbers reduced are 2-5-1 to 5-1-2.

OR you could use the Chinese Zodiac to see that you're compatible with anyone born in the same year as you (until you factor in month animal, day animal, etc). So you can pretty much pick and choose anything "to your advantage". If you feel in your gut that you've met someone worth trying, just go for it! My gut at least never lets me down lol And if it doesn't work? Guess what? Plenty of fish in this world 🙂

I understand where you're coming from. For me, a Cancer, I've only felt truly understood by water signs. They get the emotional depth, they understand the mood shifts. I was married to a Taurus and we might as well have been speaking different languages. I frustrated the ever loving blue fuck out of him and vice versa. He certainly couldn't figure out how to give me what I need and I have no doubt that I was probably not meeting what he needed because we needed different things and no matter how hard I tried to bridge the misunderstanding bridge we never did get on the same path, not once.

Yeah, that's what I've read, too, but I'm finding most Scorpios can handle the wetness much better, and even like it. I really do think it comes down to what other placements are in a chart (assuming both people aren't royally fucked up for some reason and aren't assholes). I'm a Cancer sun, moon and ascending. That's a whole whopping boat load of water. I'm used to it, of course, but I'm sure it's overwhelming to the dryer earth signs.

Well, maybe this explains me and Libras in general a bit more, though if we were to base it on numerology, most of the ones I get along with and vice versa and the one who interests me romantically have more than one digit. Curiously, our birth charts say that we should be fantastic for each other, but you should really disregard all of this crap. You just haven't met the right person, that being someone who interests you and makes you feel like investing in them is something you want to do. I've been attracted to people of all elements and have attracted people of most signs. Remember there's more to the person than their date of birth.

I have a preference for earth signs.

Loving them occurs naturally.

It doesn't feel coerced. (I hate to be rushed into anything).
I'm able to communicate with someone rational...and when there is no communication, I'm able to pick up on subtle signs, and act accordingly.
I never feel like I'm being used, under-appreciated or exploited. It feels good to be with someone who is just as reliable, stable, grounded, and solid.

I love that I'm understood...and I understand them.

If I learned something in 2013, it's this. I used to turn down potential dates just because charts pointed towards hell and yet I was bored as hell with the people that had stellar compatibility with I. I've learned to take astrology a lot lightly and to use it more for fun than something extremely serious. No offense to anyone who does, because it truly helps, but I still need to find out what's a good fit for me and so far I'm seeing I mend the best with people who have an even amount of positive and negative placements to be enjoyable.

I've noticed myself doing pretty well with Water signs and Fire signs, though the fire signs are more common for. Though they never last. I love the Watery signs, great emotional depth. But as for Earth signs I really never bothered. The only Earth sign I've been with for like 4 times was Virgo, never had luck with Taureans and other Caps because I have yet to meet them.

Scorpios, roller coaster ride, and a lot of sex, and treat them like shit, your home free

Caps, just know their money driven, and probably never home cause they are chasing money, but you'll be fine

Pisces , communication problems, if you don't talk to them, don't expect them to read your mind
