taurus man and capricorn woman

at anyrate, ummm... there's the topic. please share 🙂 and not necessarily about this particular pairing, but whatever pairing is your experience.

I started seeing a taurus guy. i've said a million times in my dxp life that i adore taureans... men and women. romantically speaking, taurus men are my "it" boys. they always have been.

why? their character, work ethics, values, their sense of humor, their attitude towards people and life... all admirable.

AND!!!! they are the gentlemen of the zodiac, imo. as a cap woman, i fawn over gentlemen.

not to mention they always seem to "get" me. and what cap person doesnt love to be understood.

oh yea! David!!!! I think he joined the boards in the midst of something complicated with a cap lady.

yea, these guys seem enigmatic on the boards... i guess it makes sense with the way i know them to be in general. my brother is a taurus... can't be bothered with social media and sites like this. not for long at least lol

and shout out to the taurus ladies... i love how the same characteristics translates to a woman. taurean chicks are ultimate in pulling off girlygirl and lady-like all at once while coming off very strong. lol damn... how?

depends on the cap tho. for the caps i truly were interested in i felt i had to step my game up in a big way. almost intimidated by.

yep im a cap. my best relationship was with a taurus a long time ago... alas i thought i was too young and it was too serious. :\

i think it's our aloof ways that are hard to read that are intimidating. the new taurus says all the time that im hard to read and he's a very perceptive guy. when he DOES read between the lines... ugh, i love it. he's always right.

I've never been involved romantically with a Capricorn woman, but my daughter is a Cap and so is my sister-in-law and I'm very close with both. Also have some female Cap friends. I think I've grown more interested in this sign as I've gotten older; both the men and women impress me. Some thoughts on my experiences with Caps....

You folks seem to always have the best taste and a lot of class. The way you dress, the restaurants you frequent and the food you choose (even though every Cap I know is picky about strange things, e.g. "I won't eat cooked fruit."), the clothing you wear, your design/decor aesthetic, etc. I think, as a Taurus, I really appreciate these things. The Caps I know, including my daughter, seem to be naturally artistic/creative. I'm very picky and feel like I have decent taste myself, but I go to my Cap sister-in-law as the final word on everything - if I need a nice suit, am redecorating my place, etc.

As far as communication goes, I find myself intimidated by Capricorn women. I'm not sure if its an overcompensating or if its genuine strength just gained throughout life, but Capricorn women seem like they will kick your ass. They seem to have a sort of mask that is SO STRONG, that I do get a little nervous. Its almost like a very strong motherly type of vibe. I find it easy to be super honest with them though, about my own weaknesses/vulnerabilities, and they seem to really respect that and that tends to soften them up a little. There is just something about them where it feels like they got pushed around too much as children, and now they are like these hardened ass-kicking women. There are alot of factors that intimidate - my sister-in-law can disembowel people with her sarcasm/wit; it is deadly. I find that she thinks so fast and tends to hop from one topic to another, really controling the convo., where I like to linger much longer and explore things more in-depth. I communicate better with her through email where the convos are much more in-depth. I confessed to her that she intimidates me, and she said that she actually feels really intimidated by me and how I think/communicate.

Caps are definitely a little dark and mysterious which is always sexy. I just don't know about Cap passion; it seems a tight lid is kept on that, except with the SO (which is also a classy quality I admire). You folks do seem a little cold/unemotional at times, but then will be moved to tears surprisingly if you can really empathize with someone.

I think the Capricorn work ethic is amazing and since Taurus men can be pretty aloof and overly task-oriented as well, I could see this working out real well. How romantic is a Capricorn woman? I'm not sure. From conversations, they seem VERY practical in love - like they are more or less looking for someone who is of or above their socio-economic status, moreso than a soulmate.

No flirtation intended, but if I can have a Leo Moon moment here, I checked your pics and you're strikingly beautiful, and have that whole classy/elegant/refined look I'm sure your bull will dig. Alot of bulls I know prefer their women to look like this. Being so protective/possessive, if a woman flaunts too much of herself, we have a rough time when we go out, having to angrily stare down every man that looks at you inappropriately.

Does he make you laugh? Just curious. I feel like Capricorns really need people who can get them laughing.

I also have a Cap Asc. Is your friend aware that she comes off that way? I was never aware of it until I asked my Sag girlfriend what her friends think of me. They all said I am really intimidating, seem very serious, distant/cold, etc. They see me at social functions only though, and inwardly I'm usually just feeling awkward/anxious, distrusting and/or unable to express real self. The Ascendant is really strange to me; I am totally unaware of how I would be percieved as a Capricorn to others. I do absolutely hate the spotlight in front of people I'm not really comfortable with (typical of Caps I guess), but always attributed that to being a Taurus Sun.

I think as far as what we're looking for in a partner... we really really really look for the package deal... beyond the resume. We want the love and romance too. At least I do! Which is one of the reasons I think why we are such tough nuts to crack... gems like that are hard to find. And then when that person is found and the ice is melted... things get mushy n soggy n... etc.

I mean... shoot... I am. Could be my pisces moon. I'm ridiculous. But at any rate...

Everything from the restaurants I go to (I also don't eat cooked fruit), to the wines that I love, to my clothes (women in my office constantly ask me where I buy my clothes but they hate my answer as I have a seamstress that makes them for me. I consider my clothes as an investment. LOL...me and my Capricorn way of thinking. 🙂 I am currently going through this with a Taurus guy and he has said similar things as you have. I can only see her loving/caring side now after I was really open with her about my vulnerabilities, how she intimidated me, etc. Once I was honest, her mask came right off. It was pretty amazing how she opened up from there. Prior to that, I think I may have offended her with my rough humor (I've learned NEVER to make fun of a Capricorn), and felt the icy winds. Even when we are with my immediate family, when I was temporarily on her bad side, it was bad. I'd find myself mysteriously on the short end of everything we did. I apologized immediately once I realized how I'd offended her. Caps are like the secret boss. They run things, because they do a better job of running things, but its not for the spotlight; they kinda stay in the background working the controls. She is like the matriarch of my entire family.
