Taurus/Scorp - destined or doomed ?

Hi ....... I've become interested in a Taurean male but he's running hot and cold .......seems a trait of Taureans and I'm wondering if anyone would be able to comment on a chart comparison. Thanks

Hi, I don't know enough about astrology to give you a chart comparison but I can tell you as a Taurus female I always find myself drawn to Scorpios & Scorpios drawn to me. There is a magnetic attraction but that doesn't mean it is meant to be. I don't think it's his Taurus sun that's making him run hot/cold either. I think it's his Venus in Gemini. I have a Venus in Gemini as well & I can tell you that if I'm not getting VERY clear & consistent signs of interest I can be all over the place, second guessing my level of interest in the person constantly. It's not that I'm not interested, it's that without very open & honest communication about feelings/emotions, I can't let myself invest. This comes off as wishy washy. You have a Scorpio Venus & Sun. I'm guessing that any kind of wishy washy behavior is going to make you very suspicious & you will not see him as trustworthy. I've had this issue with Scorps many times in the past.

This is an interesting point. As a Scorp sun/venus, the wishy washy behaviour of Venus in Gem is read as a huge sign of disinterest. It's just weird because if we are interested in someone then we are interested. We don't flit about wondering if we are or aren't interested from hour to hour or day to day. Alien behaviour that requires much understanding which I'm not sure can be accepted and understood entirely by both parties. Chalk and cheese! Relaxing and not taking it personally might help. Don't rely on him and treat him as you would a casual friend when dating so your expectations are more realistic.

I' guess it's just me but I have never felt drawn to Scorpio. I don't like love hate relationships. Id rather keep the peace 24/7. It's difficult being friends or in a relationship with your exact opposite

I haven't found this to work with Scorpio. My ex Scorp sun I initially treated this way, just very casual about the whole thing & he was super suspicious about my level of interest. I never did really understand exactly what he wanted from me. I think Taurus/Scorpio can work just based off of the magnetism but probably not if there are Gemini placements.

This is an Air Bull, you are going to have to bring more to the table than just "magnetically" attracted or being attractive to this guy.
Air Bulls sleep, eat and drink magnetic attraction wherever they go.
You will have to be an interesting person and doing interesting things to hold his attention.

More ...... we got together for a couple of weekends, had fantastic 'relations', lol, and then he disappeared off of my radar ..... popped up 4 months later with an apology of being busy (seasonal worker). I don't know what he truly wants this time round but I don't intend to visit him again and I've now told him I don't want a fb ....... he's not responded to that mail. In the down time, I did the introspection/analyse thing, lol, and I've decided for me, being a fb isn't now what I want ........ with anyone, not just targeting this bull. My mail was about how I feel now, and not targeting his actions/inactions (previously), although they were the catalyst for this decision. I hated the time I gave to wondering what the heck was going on - I've not had hot and cold like this before. I really feel like I connected to this guy on a number of levels and Lunar Maidens post resonates within me - its him (what I know/see) and I bring all of those "requirements' and more to the table, bed, wherever, lol.
He is a very intelligent articulate man that from what I can see is quite true to his sign attributes. I'm not playing any game here, too old and wise for that and not trying to have a power struggle either - my vulnerabilities have been tattered by bad decisions in past and now I just say it like it is, albeit a bit longwinded. People either buy into the honesty or completely miss it.

Yes to all this. Have Venus in Gemini and this is all really true of what I look for in general. But this puts a lot of pressure on a person...lol. And its not that I look for someone to impress me - like you have to have a routine ready for the talent portion of the pageant. Its that I'm looking for someone who is passionate about something, into learning, growing artistically, philosophically, spiritually, etc. I am basically so easily bored that my life is a constant rotation of things I get momentarily passionate about....You have to have at least one major thing, hopefully several, that you're passionate about too or it won't work. We won't understand each other, you'll feel neglected when I go off to do my thing, or I will neglect my own interests out of guilt, and feel like I am trapped. If we have interests that overlap, that's ideal....If you are the type of person where we can sit up and talk, in-depth about life, our past, the meaning of things, etc., if we can sit together and be 10x's more interested in each other's thought than whatever is on the TV....That's basically where I fall in love....OTOH, if its a Scorpio, all she has to do apparently is stare at me for a few seconds, and none of the above matters....

I saw the chart. I was just wondering what placements in the chart would make one an "air bull". In that aspect, I guess i'm an "air bull" as well seeing that my moon is Libra and my venus is Gemini

Then this bull is impossible one because he's more through communication (like chatting on fb) than deep feeds like you do. You are more into the emotional depth/connection in which he doesn't have it.

Thanks ....... just need to say though that it was me telling him that I don't want to be a FWB via email ....... no response and I guess there wont be - perhaps for the best as there seem more minus than plus.

We've not talked about what he was offering. I just believed that it'd be fwb, if we hit it off - his situation/job is somewhere beautiful and slightly remote - I see he's found/is in his earth nirvana, and initially he just said he'd love me to come and visit. He said early on that he'd not had many days off in the last few years and that that wasn't conducive to cultivating a relationship and the net had been his sex life for the last few years. After the second visit he sent a mail (apologising for the delay ) thanking me for visiting, saying work was getting busy as and wishing me a good xmas etc. Nothing for 4 months. I by this time had sent a mail wishing him well (after 3 non reply) ...... lol all very civil. When he reappeared he cited being really busy(seasonal work) for his absence - confirmed national newswise. I didn't initially see his mail/apology before a few days later another message saying "Anyway ...." he'd been reflecting on our times together and he thought of me fondly and wishing me well, etc. I replied and we've been back to the cyber sex and I know that it'd be working mutually up to me visiting again. In his absence I had done some serious soul searching about what was good/bad for me and being a FWB/F.buddy wasn't for me any longer. Me, a Venus in Scorpio was in an on again off again FWB/f.buddy/mistress situation for 12 years with another Scorpio. Talk about shoot yourself in the foot ! It took me a long long time to get real ....... its totally 'buttered' all over my self esteem, psyche like hot toast ! My mail (saying I didn't want to fall back into the FWB situation that had started to re develop) was about me and my wants/needs and I never asked what he wanted etc ......... just present the situation from (my point of view) and leave it at that. My mail wasn't at all saying I didn't want to connect with him, just that the FWB situation didn't serve me (emotionally) well and I'd not be seen much at our usual web site. He has my phone number and private email.

LOL, i am always on the move and talking to people. My current job has 560 people under me and I mostly walk around talking with them. I enjoy my personal time and my home is my castle, not too unsual for any Bull. I do keep to myself mostly, but are dead on about getting my attention. A woman will have to be very interesting to get my attention. I like learning, so teach me something I don't know, stay on top of current events and technology and have alot of trivia in your back pocket.

Thank you i.8 ........ yes a bit tattered, not 'spoilt' for a new relationship though. I'm fairly introspective and I definitely played my part in the whole scenario, so yeah its good to be out of that. To be honest *whispers* 'he wasn't very good in horizontal positions' te he, and I think thats why the Taurean turned my head and bed upside down ...... or is that, head down upside the bed .....lol. Sigh ....... oh well it WAS lovely while it lasted on that non complicated level ..... another lesson/example of life.

UPDATE !
Ok ........ I got a really nice response back from the bull ......... saying No problem, he totally understands where Im coming from (not wanting to be a FWB) and respects my decision. He went on to say that he was sorry he wasn't able to provide what I wanted and that he knows women find it quite difficult to just be a FWB. He went on to reciprocate positives in the experience we'd shared and of course, lol, he finally added that basically if I wanted 'company' I was more than welcome to visit.
So The End. ........ been quite a reflective week for me and while swimming, whoops, soaking in the bath before I worked out that this was a big lesson for me on a number levels ....... and I can appreciate the near miss and thank my little ole gut for the feeling I had.
