What are we supposed to learn from Scorpio?

your opposite sign is supposed to be a mirror of yourself. for other signs like aqua and leo, i see it so clearly. i dated both, fell in love with both and it ended with both for directly opposite reasons. if i could've meshed the two of these guys together i'd have the perfect man.

but when i look at scorpio females, i'm so confused. i've had one female scorp who was a pretty good friend and in a lot of ways i found her loud and vulgar BUT outgoing and far more extroverted than myself. so on the extroversion level, i definitely see where i could learn from my opposite. beyond that, what else is there?

maybe i need to be more power hungry?

express my anger a lil more quickly?

any ideas?

uhm, actually given that there are plenty of intelligent women her who are aware of other signs and their tendencies, i would much rather ask a taurus woman what she lack rather than ask a scorp what they think we lack. so tiddle off to where you belong.

i get the concept but i don't understand what that means. am i behaving as if i'm in "survival jeopardy?" when my mom passed away, yes. i felt like the world was caving in and i wanted to hold on to the things that grounded me. but that was an extreme. do taurus' hold on for dear life in all instances and not recognize it?

what taurus women do you know? i'm not saying you're experiences aren't reality but IMHO, the opposite of what you said is true. i think there are some taurus women who are a lil "fast" but for the most part, venusianbull is right, we're more of a slow roar. with my aries, it took me a good 3 months before i would initiate contact with him. i figured, if he wanted to talk with me, he'd call. otherwise, i'm good. of course he called everyday back then 🙂

and i'll be honest, the leo is the only guy that i was "fast" with. as quickly as we moved, that relationship lasted the longest so although it's something i wouldn't repeat, i think that's one time when i WAS being like a scorp or...a tau who is genuinely smitten.

in terms of dating, i find that when i like a guy, i'm more flirtateous and direct. i have no problem approaching him and telling him how haaaaaaaacht he is. i have no trouble sending sexual signals to him. if it's a guy who's interested in me, then i allow him to chase. but personally, i feel more comfortable as the chaser, not the prey. thing is, my choices in prey are very specific.

now the scorp women i've known, they seem to give in a lot more quickly physically. they're louder, more crass, more direct. the best advice a scorp woman ever gave me was, stop looking for superman.

i used to have a book that detailed what signs needed to learn in order to grow and it always involved looking at your opposite. maybe i can find something on the net...
