Fluevog is a company that designs unique shoes that are very high quality. I've owned a few pairs of "Vogs" as they're known and love them.

Their current contest is to design an ad for a shoe inspired by the constellation Lyra. I think it's open to people worldwide.

You're welcome! 🙂 They've been really good with customer service with me, so if you need info on how anything they sell fits, they will likely answer you in detail I'm sure.

I prefer boots that aren't so wide at the top compared to what is usually sold, so I know the dilemma.

I'm so out of practice with drawing, but maybe one day I'll enter one of their contests. I would love to. 🙂

I saw a lady in the grocery who had on these

amazing boots-- they were very simple, which is hard

enough to find.

Like good leather isn't enough... must have pointless

buckles etc

Took me a minute to figure out why they looked so good--

and I think it was just that they fit, beautifully.

she's far more talented than she ever used to give herself

credit for.

I like the same kind of boots you're describing I think! I finally found vintage boots that match, made in the 70s. Really simple, suede or leather, slim fit.

I read that part of the reason that French women are known to look very good is because they have their clothes altered to fit properly. Since I started to do that, big difference! I'm petite so all the more reason, and I recall that you are too.

I like your kind of pushiness. It's encouraging. 🙂 Sometimes that's just what I need to get me to be less inhibited with artistic pursuits. I used to draw for hours!
