Because someone else took it down and it was a reasonable topic. Ever kind of had a good friendship with one of your friends ruined because you both went after the same woman? It happened to me and my best friend a long time ago, but yeah we both got fucked over and realized she really wasn't worth it in the end. Pretty much cheated on us both. Nearly ended a good friendship over a woman I crushed on since I was like 10. But eh I look back and regret nothing. He called dibs first and it was best to let my homie be. Though he shoved in my face every second, what a dick. This all comes from Article 62 of the Bro Code= n the event that two Bros lock on to the same target, the Bro who calls dibs first has dibs. If both call dibs at the same time, the Bro who counts aloud to ten the fastest has dibs. If both arrive at the number ten at the same time, the Bro who bought the last round of drinks has dibs. If they haven't purchased drinks yet, the taller of the two Bros has dibs. If they're the same height, the Bro with the longer dry spell has dibs. Should the dry spells be of equal length, a game of discreet Broshambo* shall determine dibs, provided the chick is still there. *Rock, paper, scissors for Bros. Gem homie won.

No.

And I cordially disagree. It's not about dibs. It's about who has the more significant interest (and I am assuming-- probably incorrectly-- that the interest extends beyond "nailing" someone).

I'm not sure some of you really know what being a bro means. It's not a wingman, or a friend. This is someone you would go to the wall for. This is the guy who has your back, whom you can trust implicitly. You could leave anything or anyone with him (including your woman) in absolute confidence that he'll provide and protect in your absence.

I've lived a long life. I can count the number of bros I've had on one hand.

Indeed, sir.

That's the way I see it.

Pretty much the same for me. My Gem friend is my bro. Been bros since Middle School. Always had my back and vice versa. Just when it comes to liking the same woman, well that's where the code comes in. Makes things fair and square for both of us.
