Who knows about home improvement/maintenance?

I think I screwed up and need some advice on how to fix it.

I had, what I thought, was missing mortar between the bottom row of bricks on my house. So I found some mortar caulk and filled them. Now, I'm thinking they were supposed to be there. Possibly Weep holes that let moisture out?

So, when it dries, can I take a drill and bust it out? It's too stretchy to do anything with right now.

If your house has brick veneer yes those are drain holes you need them so any moisture between the brick and the wall can drain out. Make sure you clean them out you will find them at the bottom of the wall or above a window.

Hammer and chisel.

I guess a drill might work though. Do you have a masonry drill bit?

That's how we learn. Got to screw up a few times first.
