hmmm, 10 hours of walking around. 60 minutes in an hour, that's 600 minutes.Slightly less than 2 minutes of footage of instances of catcalls.
2/600 x 100 = 0.33333% of her time walking around.
Anybody who thinks that at least 0.333333% of the population, both male and female, aren't complete, total, immature morons... is living in a fantasy world. Don't blame the rest of either sex for that 0.33333% .
smh... after posting this video this woman has received death threats. I think she has the right to walk down the street without the fear that she'll be catcalled. Catcalling isn't always a compliment. there are plenty of woman who cross the street when they see a group a men approaching them or standing around down the block.

Pfff! She wasn't even all that...Some of the instances shown were men being friendly to her (although the two that followed her were definitely harassing her). Maybe it was because she's a woman, maybe it was because she's a pretty woman or maybe being they were simply being... nice.
As for the cat-whistles, yes, that's both uncouth and annoying, but women have their own ways of irritating men who they find sexually attractive.
Will it soon be a crime for any man to admire a beautiful/sexy woman and express it? Lord forbid!
She's pretty, she's not a supermodel but she is attractive. I thought some of those guys were respectful but I do agree that may 20% of those guys can ruin it for everyone else because they'll say something derespectful about your body and what they would like to do to it.

stroll through NYC. Is she overreacting in your opinion or are her feelings valid.Street Harassment?
"... involving people of all backgrounds."
Please.
They're obviously singling out the minorities.
Some like it some don't. That was a social experiment and I'm sure in her spare time she'd gladly say something.

It just looks extremely thirsty to see 5 men trying to jump into 1 pair of jeans at the same time. 😕 It really just isn't that serious with millions of women on earth that look better or the same. The chances of seeing a good looking woman in a big city with a phat ass is extremely high. I mean, I live in a small city and if I was coolin on the block like them I'd see that kind of woman every 5 minutes.I never did like competing for women though.
spoken like a true Virgo. most in the video were looking for what looked good in that moment and not for the "best overall female"
PHV25, i'm curious how do you choose what female to date/pursue. Who do you like? Why?

Street Harassment?
Strolling through New York City for a day is no walk in the park, one woman found after being catcalled 108 times.
Shoshana Roberts, a —New York City-based actress with a black belt,?? according to her website, was followed around and pelted with unsolicited comments while walking through the city for 10 hours.
The disturbing clip, filmed by Rob Bliss, was turned into a public service announcement in collaboration with Hollaback! The organization tries to combat street harrassment.
During a day in August, Bliss walked in front of Roberts with a camera hidden in his backback, according to Hollaback!
—I'm harassed when I smile and I'm harassed when I don't,?? Roberts said, according to NBC. —Not a day goes by when I don't experience this.??
Roberts, wearing jeans and a black T-shirt, walks the entire 2-minute video in silence, with two mics in her hand that pick up the disparaging remarks.
—Hello, good morning,?? one man says while he walks beside Roberts for five minutes.
Shoshana Roberts was catcalled by men 108 times over the course of a day as she walked around Manhattan earlier this year.
—Someone's acknowledging you for being beautiful,?? another man says. —You should say —thank you?? more.??
—You don't wanna talk— asks another man walking beside her. —Because I'm ugly—
He persists, —If I give you my number would you talk to me—
Between 70% and 99% of woman are catcalled or harassed at some point in their lives while walking down the street, according to Hollaback!
