Carnival would be nice. I've sure it stomps Mardi Gras into the ground.

I want to go to the carnival in Venice.

Ya'll forget I live in the same state. N'awlin's is crowded and verra loud at Mardi Gras time. Better to just visit Bourbon Street on a quiet day.

However, where ever the Mummers Day Parade is, would be new and different.

Yeah, I'm not sure about those drunken crowds.

I'm sure the topless ladies aren't too upsetting though. (for you, I mean)

Hmm. I think.. I'd rather see the Las Vegas types, myself. All the ostrich feathers and weighty accoutrements. Muuch easier to chance one of those girls. (Or.. at least have a fine trophy feather.) Came "this" close, etc.

curiosity and it'll be fun going with my two bestfriends, muhehehe...

I don't really want to go to a strip club. Mainly because we have one downtown called Scandals (although for some reason they keep changing the name...I think they keep losing their liquor license or something), and I've seen the men that come out of there, and they're weird, gross, and scary.

Now, a male strip club...that's a different story.

been to carnival in Rio,last year as a matter if fact,its
great non stop samba music and dancing in the streets.
the parade is held in a large stadium and you sit on bleachers to watch it go by.its very hot weather and people.
never been to MardiGras but carnival is not to be missed.
you also have to go to the beach in the day to buy these little shorts to wear at night with high heeled shoes .they
help you get that latin rhythm and dance to the samba music
its all in the hips you know 🙂

Buy him a GameBoy. (err..) I heard about carnival in Rio, that they prepare all year long (also in New Orleans, but not the same..) I understand different schools compete and it's the biggest thing of the year for them. I think I'd like it all the more because of the latin flavor. (I saw giant stick puppets held up by 2 or more people, in a movie once.. I'd like to see that in person.)

I must go to both how and when I do not know.

In responce to strip clubs: yeah, I'm going to be pissed if nobody takes me to a strip club for my 18th. It's my golden birthday this year. I'm going to be 18 on the 18th (of August).

Espernaut, the Carnival at Venice is just as it sounds, a big Carnival (a major party), where everyone dresses up in costumes and maskes. I think it's in Febuary? Don't really remember that.
