I'm a Virgo. And I'm probably one that's soooo Virgo, I always have trouble connecting with other people. First, a little background about my family (you can skip this part if you're not interested):

Dad a Pisces = we never had a fight in the past but we are neither sweet to each other. I almost have nothing in common with him.

Mom a Taurus = my mom and I are very close. I love my mom so much that I always say the sweetest things to her. In turn, she's also very proud of me for being one of the smartest kids in the neighborhood (forgive me for bragging lol).

Sister a Virgo = we are like twins. we think alike. we laugh at the same things. we are interested in the same things. she is always the first person I turn on to whenever I have a problem at school. 🙂 She's my elder sister.

Younger Brother an Aquarius = most of my life, my relationship with him is cold and indifferent. perhaps this is because we never had anything in common. he's into wars. i'm into nation-building, city-building. he's into sports. i'm into history. well some of our interests are intertwined but mostly, he sees things too differently that we don't talk as long as my sister and i talk. but ironically, he has the longest space in this weird thread. lol.

~~~
now as to my problem... i usually don't really ask the horoscope for my daily problems but i'll just give this a try. i'm studying in a law school and i probably need to know how i could deal with some of the people at school.
This Aquarian guy: I thought we're okay but then during our group report in one class, he sabotaged my part. I was sooo shocked at what he did so I asked him why he had to do that, he told me that he doesn't like me and that he finds me very cocky. He did that so that I wouldn't "shine" when it's finally my turn. LOL. I was like O_o!!! Since then, I've always tried to avoid him but the problem is, he always seems to be the center of attention! Just earlier, he hosted the class party we had. I have to be happy because it's our class party but of course, the rift between us is making the whole party awkward. I hope I could avoid him completely because that seems to be the most practical thing to do. But how can I do that? What else could I do if I can't do this?
other people at school...
my closest friend is actually an ARIES: she's wacky, funny, and energetic! I like her! Quite weird to find friends with someone who's noisy.
another close friend is a TAURUS guy: we share a lot of common thoughts. I personally think he can be my best friend. However, he has a girl friend. Most of his time is devoted to her. We don't hang out that much so it's kind of a bummer. He's an introvert too, he rarely or never socializes with anyone.
my HS friend is also a classmate of mine in law school: he's a TAURUS, as I've checked in his FB page. We have very long conversations and we talk often too. I guess Tauruses and Virgos do bond really well. 🙂
I can picture virgo and aqua in general as both thinking they are the only ones who are right. A complete battle of righteousness. Try to step back and see if perhaps this is the root of the problem.
I'm not trying to offend, here, but Virgo women seem overly dramatic and tend to read a lot into a situation that's just not there. And aqua men tend to think they're the intelligence authority and have a tendency to appear as if they feel superior.
You can't change what he does, but you can control how you react to it. You can control your actions and reactions. So recognition of the problem is 90% of the battle. If what I wrote above is what's happening and if you can see your role in the situation, you can change your role. He'll still be the way he is, but it might not be so bad.
And I'm by no means saying you are wrong!! Just offering a way to deal with it.
In my experience:
Aquas are like that - will either ditch you if they have no more use for you or stab you in the back in general. They are NOT the loyal types, self centered like their Leo other halves. *shrugs* Do your best to avoid him, he made it clear that you are not to out do him. Ignore him, do you thing, do it well and your merits will speak for themselves!
Aries can brighten up any room, they care not what others think and are social butterflies.
As for the Taurus, nothing like the loyalty and down to "Earthness" of an Earth sign! They'll keep it real and have your back come what may...
^^I actually think you're right. Most of my issues with Aquarian guys tend to involve our EGOS. I mostly don't like them because they can be soooo C*CKY. At the same time, they tend to think the same way to me as well. In fact, my female aquarian friend did admit to me that she finds me c*cky too. It's all about the EGO I think.
But here's what I'm really asking: how could I possibly avoid this annoying fellow? Or is it the right thing to do? @_@ Perhaps, it is, if I have to avoid any word war in the future...
Thank you. I like Aries and Taurus people. They often end up my friends! 🙂 As for Aquarius people, I have to be wary of them next time. Well, there can always be an exception like that Aquarius girl I became very close with.
He obviously felt a need for some reason to put you in your place. And it appears he tried. Just act like it doesn't bother you.
Since you can't completely avoid him, be friendly. Show your good side. Don't be ass kissing, but don't have a chip on your shoulder either. Just act like everything is fine. If he realizes it doesn't bother you, it should roll over. Perhaps he'll turn attention to someone/something else.
Be the bigger person.
Sorry, but that's all I got.
^^We are on the same team and we're about to present another report together. My problem is, he could probably do the same thing again he did last Saturday (when he sabotaged my report). Our professor grades us individually so he can do just about anything to sidestep my report! @_@ I'm actually going to talk over this with my other group mate who knows the rift between us. If she can fix it then it's good. But as much as possible I really want to avoid talking to him because he has a sharp tongue and can be a little bit inaccurate/imprecise in describing things to the point of possibly slandering me of things that aren't really true...
