Do you trust your intuition? Is it accurate?

I understand that being virgo means that we have keen abilities to observe and analyze. In the long run, it becomes your 6th sense as your intuition.
So is your intuition accurate?

Gem here with virgo rising. Found your question intriguing. Here's where I differ with your premise. You've stated observing and analyzing is equated to intuition. I've found my intuition is based more upon how I feel or what I sense in a given
Situation rather than how I analyze it afterwards. So do you think virgos intuition is not based on any feeling or
Sensation but pure reasoning?

I know people who've felt something bad was going to happen to the plane they were about to board and refused
To get on. And sure enough the plane has engine problems or something else dire. Thats not analyzing.
That's feeling an emotion and acting on it. Often intuition has to act so quickly you don't have time to question it.

As a virgo male, when I make a decision on subjects that requires careful consideration - this usually starts with observing and researching then analyzing them to come to a conclusion.
However, at this stage I always ask myself WHAT I THINK (my intuition). If the analytic conclusion and my intuition contradicts, then there will be a problem. Whatever the choice I choose will not be performed to maximum potential due to my confidence in that decision being lowered by the contradiction.
With that being said, a third party might be involved because an outside perspective are valuable and provides some assurance.
At the end of the day, one must choose if a contradiction arrives between the intuition or the analytic conclusion. It becomes a gamble on how your life will play out.

However, I am also aware that I am living a human life with the given ability of free-will. I am proud to have the option to choose, therefore I do not fear this, but appreciates it as these decisions are what defines my life and makes it truely mine.

Observing & analyzing IS a feeling. Whenever I observe &/or analyze someone or something, that's my intuition letting me know that something just doesn't FEEL right about it.

It's also just an innate ability I have. Doesn't really have a thing to do with being a Virgo. Psychic premonitions are in my family genes.

I love this question because I find myself questioning my intuition all the time!

My first instinct is pure intuition, no reasoning behind it. I get this huge kick in the gut all of a sudden where my heart drops to my stomach and I'm like yeah something's not right.. Then I investigate.

I find sometimes that I end up analyzing that initial instinct into the ground and start doubting myself because logically it doesn't alway make sense why I feel that way. If logic supports my intuition, which is bout 50% of the time, I go with it. If it doesn't then we enter phase 2 which I like to call personal h*** because I'm going to rationalize this to death.

Funny enough, most times when I investigated further because I didn't trust my gut.. My gut ended up being right. It has about a 5% failure rate however so because of that 5% I have a tendency to second guess it until I get concrete proof.

Do you find yourself over analyzing your initial gut instinct?

Slight percentage differences, but same idea.
