Not all ways. There are several users on here who are in search of long-term partner, so this is a pretty good catch since everyone is more comfortable to express themselves in an articulate manner.

Users seeking a mate: Seavixxen, beetlejuice... there are plenty of more users, but they either don't last to long since the men they search aren't necessary they want (generally because most of them are pretty retarded since they are too open to realize they look idiotic posting what they say on here...*me 😉 *)

Users seeking joy: Domino, Ianthefish, Sorti-fantastic poney, Domino, Peri..., and so on. These users have too much time on there hands, and they think they are so cool by attempting to make other dxpmembers believe in all the stuff they say, which is obviously out of their ass. Probably loners, losers, weirdos, and a harry potter character (which has all three characteristics i just discribed), they invest their time creating unreal scenarios due to delusional superiority rather than actually getting fit as how they say or any made up story they had said, which is hard to pin-point.

Users seeking dominance: Tubby(Caligula), P-Angel, TOC, Qbone, (aries ram chick *she's been around*) and anyone else who walks the gaza strip....
Generally very headstrong, prideful, and controlling people who are either preach to the world that the world is coming to an end on the side of the hollywood strip or they are the friend that has a huge incompetence problem that denies them the metacognitive to realize their mistakes... These people are fun to make fun because they take every seriously, and they are capable of yelling at monitor screens or shooting up a building with congressmen.

Users who are sex driven but never have it so often: I mention them all ready...

Temporary Users: Never keeping a stable account, but they return with a new nick and a new name OR you get the users who are only on here to make a single response and flock away to another zodiac site. Also, there are the users who create dxpnet accounts to vent about partners, talk about the new partners flaws (weaknesses) and/or strengths.

Instead of it being that we are creating false personas could it be that there is no fear here so we can speak about things that we can't irl? It's a gathering place where people can ask advice and seek opinions without judgment... and if someone does judge you, it's the internet, who really cares? If you went to a bar or bookstore and just started asking people questions... well it wouldn't end well. Here, you can do that. It doesn't mean it's fake, just that it doesn't have the same filters that people use with strangers face-to-face.

If it is not the false persona but the flexibility to speak deeply of our more sensitive desires without the fear of judgment or rejection then is it not the help of the computers ability to disguise ourselves as entities and lower our inhibitions since there are no expressions present rather than the unknown responses of somebody in actuality?

We meet comfortably online and expose ourselves in some personal degree that wouldn\'t be told to our peers in real life, but since we are all careless by the moral judgment of the generic faces that appear as we reciprocate with an entity from an obscure forum who we may take an interest toward, such as seavixen and beetlejuice who decided to date each other and delete their accounts, but would their freedom of expression be repressed once they confront each other in person? Would their communication change more drastically if they noticed the body language, tone, and expressions given to each others faces in response to vulgar communication? Can you be the person to respond to this question since you have experience of meeting your virgo friend from the internet, and can you tell me whether or not your communication has changed from that first experience of meeting each other in person?

Hey bad examples hold a place, too. Generally reality offers someTHING or someONE comparable to insecurity tactics displayed online.
For instance?
Personal photos which are photoshopped to an unrecognizable degree in an attempt to disguise actual age/weight/etc by digital manipulation, despite grossly distorted results which are often painfully obvious. Conversely, the IRL solution to artificial *~hawtness~* is tanning beds, cosmetic surgeons, padded bras, enough makeup to supply a circus.

Point is, everybody falls short somehow while others utilize the internet as a means of overcompensation and denial. There's nothing wrong with you noticing.

Hey, back in 1998, a friend of mine has an aunt (more like cousin- age difference wasn't significant) that manipulated her photos by using paint or whatever was available to make herself look smexy on those typical chat-forums, and she met her husband on one of those sites. She thought he was smexy, but he messed around with his photos as well, so they were both pretty smitten, and they decided to meet up since they only lived two hours away from each other, and once they saw each other for the first time, they both laughed at how much they lied to each other when they both noticed that they were both fat. They fell for each other, and they are still together since...ah online love stories.
