It is pointless to complain about the double standard because there isn't really one. Why not? Because men get to decide whether a woman in is desirable or not; women get to decide whether a man is desirable or not. Men and women are different and have different goals and strategies with regards to love.

The real question is why women consider being a player a good thing?

The idea that some words are associated with the female gender and some a male gender isn't odd or even worth noting. Just imagine her (ok, if she was like three years old) saying, "If a guy has a baby, he is a father, but if a girl has a baby she is a mother." And saying it in that tone that suggests some hidden meaning behind the difference in words. The different words only becomes notable when one of the words has a good connotation and the other has a bad one.

that baby comparison is irrelevant.. its not about stating the obvious.. nor is about analyzing the worthiness of whether or not this should be discussed.neither am i saying that Macking on its own is notable enough to spark a hypothetical debate between the relations with man and woman.. Macking is not innate.. though it involves different tactics.. end result is still the same.. the grit of the matter is the action: which is taking advantage.. this is more closely associated with human nature.. for more purposes than just advancing in an intimate relationship.. Everyone has different perspectives..despite American society who encourages more close mouthed reactions or just quick relatively painless denouncements of such as u did in response to this post..
