How deep are your friendship bonds.
Had a best friend for over 14 years till I found out he may have contributed to causing my divorce. Now they're together happily. Hope the best for them. Other "best" friend I don't really see on a regular basis. I would say I have more acquaintances and backstabbers than friends. So now it's just my son and I against the world.

sorry to hear that that person is not a friend for real thats sounds a manipulator dude dont worry u would find good people to rely on just take that as a lesson as to know what qualities that are important in a good friendship.

Thanks but it's not that bad for a couple of reasons. What better suitor for my ex wife than someone I know is going to treat her right. Also if someone's going to be in the picture that much and around my son that often I would rather know him than it be some random person I could only guess at how he's treating my son. THis time away from friends has also helped grow my relationship with my son and I couldn't be more thankful. We learn the alphabet & numbers, practice good regular hygeine, learn our manners, he helps me cook and clean, I read him stories before bed, he helps mow or shovel the driveway, we play video games together, I cut his hair after cutting my own, we go to the park, we throw the baseball, all uninterrupted by friends. So it's not all that bad.
OP3....just wanted to comment on the fact that your an amazing dad.....so hard to come by these days 🙂

Ouch!!...sorry to heard that OP3, that is Painful...Difficult to get close with one person in a deeper level and give your trust with whole heart.Because we never know what is gonna happen...either you lose them for different reasons...But losing someone you trusted because they take or steal your soul from behind your back...that is really painful with no explanations....😢
