Humanly Possible Powers
I'm kind of the same. I'm very intuitive but I have no water placements. But the thing I do have a lot of is Sagittarius. Do you have any Sagittarius placements?
Many people only see them as wanderers or adventurers, but sags and sag placements are very philosophical and wise, because astrology wise they're like those explorers who have seen many things.
I honestly feel like such an old soul. Pisces (our opposites) aren't the only ones who are intuitive. While theirs is more emotional intuition, a Virgos is more physical. You'll be able to catch things that many people won't even notice.
People DO downplay Virgo abilities smh.
Also, scorpio and Virgo was once said to be the same sign. I feel very comfortable around them, as they are just as analytical and observant as us. So how compatible you and your Scorp friend could be because of that.

Although you have no water in your chart, your personal planets may be in the water houses. 4, 8, 12.
And you do sound like an empath so you readily absorb other people's moods and energy so maybe you did absorb something from your friend.
Also, neptune might be aspecting your ascendant.
Example: i have 4 planets in scorpio in my 10th house (house of Capricorn) and my Rising is in Capricorn. I attract people with heavy Capricorn influences and other earth signs.

My Scorp. friend, all I know at the moment is his birthday is November 13th. I'll ask if he knows where he was born and stuff but we are so much alike.
