Fall back in love with someone?

my and my partner have been on and off for few months now, she loves me soooo much and i love her im just not in love with her any more.

she said she cant keep doing it to herself anymore which is understandable, but she wants to totally stop seeing me cos she needs to get over me, its killing me the thought of not having her in my life, so should i get back with her in the hope that i fall back in love with her

she said she is willing to wait for me but she cant wait if she doesnt think ill fall for her again?

what should i do? i want her so much she is amazing, i have just fallen out of love with her. we stopped having sex kissing as much but ilove being with her, cuddling her through night etc and want to love her so much?

Well the thing was, we both started working alot and not seeing each other and grew apart alot, we went on break and in that time i cheated on her. she found out about it and it hurt her so much i felt so bad! basically we never recovered fully from that, she moved back to her home town and i stayed put, we kept seeing each other every other weekend and went on holiday to Turkey just last week, she told me i dont look at her the same any more, which i know my feeling are not what they were, i dont want to lose her at all, she is the most important person in my life, but she just tells me she needs someone who will love her, which i want the best for her but i know thats me if i can get back to how we were, i spoke to her this afternoon i asked if she was coming to see me this weekend and she just said, look Ami were done, its not about you putting effort in, you dont feel the same as i do and i cant be with someone who doesnt love me back.

So what do i do?

okay i've went thru all the comments and all i have to say is show her, show her you love her. i have no question that you love her...so do so. sagittarians can forget..

Cheating on her was the straw that broke this ..


I recall before you and her deciding to try and have a commited relationship last year that you repeatedly cheated on her because you were trying to decide whether you loved her, or another woman ... and tried to keep them both by telling each one that you wanted them while in their presence ... only, to keep flopping back and forth between the two. You obviously made the decision it would be her ... but, the problem is, by you doing this last year, only created doubt in her mind about your loyalty to her.

And now .. you cheat again. Whether it was on a break or not, is irrelevant in her mind, I should think ... because before when you cheated on her, you told another woman you loved her.

Women can't be emotionally cheated on .. you tell another woman that you love her, and the end of the road soon approaches. Whether you told this other woman you loved her or not, is also not revelant, for they are only words to be spoken.

If you come in here and say you fell out of love with her, while saying that you cheated on a break .... this is the same thing as saying that because of this other woman, you no longer are in love with your partner. Same thing .. just backwards suggestion to tell her that you are no longer with her.

Besides .. she wants to move back to Manchester to get closer to her career, anyway.

At this time .. it would probably be more beneficial for you to come to terms with yourself first to figure out what you are looking for. To try and get her back now, without any soul-searching would only get back the same heartache ... because she probably doesn't trust you any longer with her heart.

you said you fell out of love. you can't force it. and getting back with her in hopes of falling in love again would be a detriment to both of you.

let her go. stop contact with her and figure it out. maybe you'll find out then if you really love her or not.

Thank you for your comments, we actually are not seeing each other now until August, so perhaps this break will help us both fiqure out what we want for our future?
