Virgo woman, Gemini Man
Only met one Gem man (that I know of), and other than our wonderful 5 hour long conversations/debates, that was where the compatibility ended.
He was a co-worker, and also older than me (in like a big brother sort of way). I was not attracted to him at all.
Unless the other placements in the personal charts are compatible, the emotional connection is pretty much non-existent. I need that.

Actually, their venuses could work if they can look past the control aspect.
The venus in leo will make the gem pretty fucking flashy, so he's going to be happy go lucky, but he's going to love the amount of attention you're giving him. He's going to ooze sensuality and it probably will attract you. But, you're going to want things be your way, and that might be a little hard for the gem.
Both of you are cerebral, both of you are big in love, but express it in different ways. Don't try to tie the gem down just yet. Show him affection, smother him subtlely, and he will always do the same.
I've dealt with gems, and the are actually sweet guys. A lot of fun. So, this could be exciting for you and keep you on your toes. Just try not to allow that venus in scorp to bring you down.

I had a guy last summer. (His moon was in gemini, virgo rising, My moon is in Libra, Taurus Rising)
he was wonderful. we clicked SO well. never have i clicked with another so well.
usually it ends in arguments or one of us blowing out but with him ... never.
he was calm and gentle. and very giving. met his gemini buddy (didnt like him at all!)
he was protective of me. he took care of me when i was sick. felt so safe in his arms.
he told me he loved my open mind. and how he could talk to me about anything.
he loved to joke around ... and make clever remarks. we were both playful and clicked intellectually
shared ideas. i've actually been thinking about him a lot lately ... he was here on business
met him in june last saw him in Nov. then he had to go back home to europe ... he wont be back for another 2 years
we still keep in touch. I also know a virgo man - gem woman , close friends of mine have a wonderful marriage
great communication, and they've been together for about 20 years now.
