To share my experiences, I absolutely feel like a caprittarius. My sun sign is sagittarius. I wasn't born on a cusp, but I am completely loaded in cap with my planets. Click on my profile for my chart if you're interested. I was raised by a cap mom and my brother is a cap as well. Feels like I have been growing into my sag side only as an adult when I'm not under the influence of my family so much anymore. It has been a hugely liberating experience but a scary one, too. Those times when I felt like I was actually being true to myself, at the same time I often felt like I am betraying myself and my family somehow. Caps can really demand excellence and living up to their standards.. they might not voice their disappointment in you but you can sure read it from their face. As a curious and wild little sag I felt completely caged in my home environment. My salvation was that I still loved spending time by myself. The cap in me has always wanted to tame my fire and put it into some completely practical use, which frustrates me. The emotional side of it is a whole different story. All in all, I feel like there are many inner controversies complicating my life. Still the sag in me loves these challenges and I could probably live as a hermit on some faraway mountain and feel completely entertained by just my own thoughts (plus the nature!) 🙂
