The Cardinal signs, with aries leading the pack, then cancer, then libra. Its comes natural to them to want to lead in every way possible.

I have to say Aries because I can be ridiculously jealous, more so than anyone I know. Leo and Scorpio following.

Any of you see a bit of a difference between jealousy and envy?

I only exhibit jealousy in romantic relationships. I'm an Aries.

But so do my girlfriends and we are all have diff signs. The jealousy is never unfounded either.

From personal experience.....

Cancers. Unfounded jealousy to the point of delusion.

The men I've dated that were jealous were A cancer and currently Leo.

i'm super jealous. i know this for a fact.

Will only be the case if it's someone that has been deenmed worthy of that level of emotions from us.

Of course. A jealous person might want something like you and hate you for owning it. They might be very satisfied if they had whatever it is you're having. I believe envy is when the main purpose is the other person losing whatever he is possessing. it wouldn't matter if you owned it as well, envy is hatred and wishing the worst for someone.

Definitely; envy can be used in a good way, you see something that someone has and with envy there can be an element of admiration as it spurs you on to work for that yourself. You want to have that thing also...

Jealousy can be based on your own skewed interpretations of events, it can be dark and it can be destructive as it's about you not wanting the other person to have something..

Some psychologists agree on a fairly straightforward distinction:

Envy occurs when we lack a desired attribute enjoyed by another.

Jealousy occurs when something we already possess (usually a special relationship) is threatened by a third person

And so envy is a two-person situation whereas jealousy is a three-person situation.

Envy is a reaction to lacking something.

Jealousy is a reaction to the threat of losing something (usually someone).
