im with a cancer
Hey there Ceribdis. I am on the cancer/leo cusp (July 21) and spent 15 years altogether (married for 8 years, lived together for 10) with a guy who was on the aries/taurus cusp (April 20), and we were an excellent match! Sadly, I lost him to a motorcycle accident 6 years ago.
What I can tell you about my experience: There was pretty much an instant attraction between us. The passion was wonderful. We both tended to be homebodies.
My a/t guy was very protective, hard working and could be very one-track minded (ie, if he discovered a new hobby he liked, he would go ALL OUT on it and just become obsessed with it until something else piqued his interest). He was very smart and well liked by everyone around him. And he definitely had a taste for the finer things in life. Does that sound at all like you?? Just curious.
We didn't have a lot of serious issues. The main one that drove him nuts about me is that when I have a bad day, or something bothers me, I pull a typical cancer and go inside the shell. I like to be alone and ponder my thoughts sometimes before talking them out with another person. Drove him nuts. He wanted to talk about everything right then and there. He could be very bull headed about getting what he wanted at times and would pout if I didn't automatically go along with things he wanted, which didn't always sit well with me. But, I can be stubborn too. 🙂
Overall, it was an extremely happy match. If I think of anything else, I'll let you know.
