Taurus-Gemini cusp how to deal?

Hi there...I wanted to know if a leo(11th August) is compatible for a Taurus-gemini cusp?(21st May)....I feel superbly attracted to this guy and he seems to like me too but its really hard to read him...He seems to be extremely proud and flighty. Always wants me to talk to him but sometimes don't reply...and then he's back with pleasant talk again.I don't understand...It's really hard to know when he's joking and when he's serious..and if I take it as a joke n it's serious...he gets hurt!Being Leo I am a proud being too but a bit gullible maybe.Please some advice on how to deal?

Hi there castor , sorry for the late reply...I was away from the board for months and could not sign in...Actually this guy is a chat friend of mine...He did not pay attention to me at first but I always replied his messages and was always helping so he started chatting with me and called me 'reliable' so as I said he sometimes didn't reply n then came back like nothing happened but still I replied. After some days I stopped messaging him and only replied whenever he messaged...he always wanted to know where I am and what I am doing...he got jealous when I was talking with my other friend...Then he started asking me when I was going to go to his country (He is a foreigner and I am planning to go there for my work n he knows that) so every time we chat he asks me the same question..not in a pushy way but very conversationally...now he's expressing that he wants to meet me..then some time back he was away from internet and was a bit depressed regarding his job hunt ( he just graduated) n there was a message from him explaining why he could not log in and how bad the days were for him...n everything happened to him and what he is doing now and where he's staying etc. We then had a voice chat n he introduced me to his sisters on voice.He said that he won't be able to log in like old days but he still wants to keep in touch with his friends and me.He wishes me good luck n gives me information on him.He told me that he's working hard to get a good job and he wants to go to my country when he has enough money...Do you think he's serious— I still cannot read him....he's too proud but he sounded really happy when I said 'I was worried...coz you were offline for 2 months...,are you ok now?' Plz someone tell me!! Is he playing? Is this just friendship? Does he sound serious??
