Another question about Aquas and Friendships

I was wondering if you act too much like a friend with an Aqua, meaning like in between times when you are not hanging out and you talk on the phone like friends and don't flirt too much etc do they end up seeing you as a friend only?
The reason I am asking is that I act all tomboyish and tough sometimes with him, and less feminine and flirty. He has commented before sasying why do you have to act so tough. I guess its me with the guard up sometimes.
Do I need to be more affectionate and warm in order to further bond with my aqua. I dont want to accidentally turn him off. I let him always approach me when it comes to affection rather than me doing the first move. So that gets me thinking am I behaving more like a friend? I know with other guys then they see you that way only. With aquas how do they view friendship with girls they like? Do I need to take it up a notch or conitinue the friendhsip mode of behavior.
DOnt get me wrong, when he shows affection and gets romantic, I all reciprocate and enjoy it, its just that I dont make the first move romantically.

I don't know why but I have always been tough. Grew up with lots of big brothers, so I act like a guy a lot. I like being really good friends with the guys I date. Its important to me, then i forget all the feminine side of me sometimes. Plus I was in a long relationship, but that enede a couple of years ago. Just want to be careful and know this guy is for real and sincere. I like taking my time. But I dont want to turn anyone off and give someone the wrong idea that I am not into them when I really am. I hope he knows I am so into him.

Communication like telling him I am really digging him? Hmmm. I would thing he would see that when I send cute texts and call him to say HI and such. Uh I hope he gets it lol

Oh I have to learn that. I am like the other way around! I am like I can do that I dont need help thank you very much! Very araian! My aqua gets like "what—" I dont know then again he talks about other girls always asking him for things and using him and it bugs him.
Well I guess I could try being a little more feminine and drop a pencil on the floor and ask him to pick it up for me lol
